GREAT Warm White replacement for fluorescent light!
I had a fixture with two old dim fluorescent "circline" lights (approx. 12" diameter). I got these "warm" lights (2700K color temperature) to match the color temp of my other LED bulbs in the kitchen. They work REALLY WELL.- The four-pin socket on the LED bulb pivots for easy installation for various wiring configurations- The color is quite nice, and the "warm white" matches my other "warm" (more yellow/pink) lights- They seem to be quite a bit brighter than my fluorescent lights, but then again the fluorescent lights were really old and may have been dim with age- You do NOT need to re-wire your fluorescent fixture. These bulbs plug into a 4-pin output from a ballast. (This means, though, that the bulbs are using the ballast; so if the ballast goes out, these lights will go out.)- Check product description: some LED replacements require you to rewire/bypass the ballast. If you want to do that, get a different model. If you want fast/easy, get these.Great value for the money, great replacement for fluorescents.

These bulbs are awesome!
These bulbs are great. I bought both the 12 inch and 8 inch bulbs for the kitchen light fixture, and love them so far!Pros:1. They're super bright!2. They're truly plug n' play - no rewriting needed.3. Unlike fluorescent bulbs, they don't hum, and don't flicker when turned on. They turn on instantly and flawlessly each time.4. They'll likely last much much longer than the fluorescent bulbs they replaced. (which died in 10 months)Things to think about: (not necessarily cons)1. They're a bit expensive. (but hey, you get what you pay for)2. The 6000k color temp may be a teeny tiny bit more harsh than the usual 4100k bulbs for some people.3. They're so bright, you can see two rings of light inside the fixture. (photos don't capture this unfortunately)All in all, if you have the money, and don't mind "daylight white" lighting, buy these. You'll love them. They'll last forever compared to fluorescent bulbs, turn on instantly, and are super bright.

Our kitchen has never been so bright
Even though I have mixed feelings I still feel these LED replacement tubes deserve 5 stars. They far exceed my brightness expectations. Our kitchen has never been so bright and the brightness reaches every corner of the room. In fact I wish they were dimmable. I think one reviewer mentioned that he now need sunglasses in his kitchen. Unlike a fluorescent tube all of the light is directed downward. This makes the more efficient but the light does not diffuse as much and as a result you can see the lamp rings through the fixture's cover. Another advantage these tube have over fluorescents is that the light level will not diminish over the life of the tube. I included a poto but I was unable to take one that shows how visible the rings are.

Passable Fluorescent Replacement
I had initially purchased another replacement bulb for my kitchen that was a little too good at its job. The light was so intense, it bordered on parody. It also gave off a hard and unwelcoming bluish white light. At first, I was resigned to living with it and was looking for ways to mitigate both the color and intensity of the light, perhaps with theatrical gels. I decided instead to do some more digging and see if I could find another LED bulb that had both a more welcoming yellow light, and was significantly less bright. This bulb still isn't my ideal, but it's certainly passable. I still think it's brighter than I would like, but I also think it will do. It's certainly something I can live with. The installation was easy enough, at least for my outlet. I only needed to swap one bulb for another using the existing four pin connector. It fit the clips that hold the bulb in place just fine. It took longer to find the step stool and remove the light cover than it took to replace the bulb. So, it's not perfect. However, it's not clear that anyone makes an LED T9 bulb that I would consider perfect. Still, this will do. And who knows? Maybe I'll eventually come to prefer the brightness.

Excellent Product
These LED T9s are idiot-proof replacements for fluorescent bulb fixtures. I only wish NY LED Luminaries made them in a softer color because 6000K is very cold for lighting a home. The attached photo is a kitchen two bulb unit. The left side's a warmer fluorescent bulb (something closer to 3000K) and the right is this LED in 6000K.

Easy Replacement
I have a very large overhead fixture with two of these lights. The replacement went smoothly and the connectors on these lights pivot up and down which made them easy to plug into the existing wiring. Boy are they bright! They give a very harsh bright white light with no warmth at all. This didn't surprise or upset me but you should expect that type of light if you use these replacements. Other reviewers noted that the bulbs were quite visible through the diffuser on their lights. That was not true on mine. The area of the diffuser directly under the lights might be slightly brighter than the rest but that is all.

Easy to install - but don't cross-install with a fluorescent!
I learned something important - when installing these lamps do not have a fluorescent lamp installed in the same fixture at the same time. Our light fixture takes 2 lamps. One of the fluorescent lamps burnt out so I ordered these lamps. I tried just replacing the burnt out fluorescent lamp, so I had one fluro and one LED installed. The LED did not work properly. When I installed both LEDs, they worked as advertised. Also, if you order the daylight lamps, be prepared to be able to see the circular lamps through any shade or cover. Not a big problem but it might put some off.
