We make them extra roomy so that you can curl up in a ball and have them still not feel tight. You shouldn't have to order a larger size just to get extra room in the waist. Concerning our sizing chart: We have tried these fleece footed pajamas on dozens of different sized people. The recommendations you see on our charts are based on what they said they felt most comfy while standing and also curled up! Envelope-tuck elastic top Velcro butt-flap back. Our fleece footed pajamas have little red "friction-dots" on the soles of the feet. 90 Day return policy!

Body Suit Fitting, Soft, Comfy, but Pricey
I purchased the size 4 (5'4-5'5). I am 5'4 and a half. It fit perfectly but almost like a form fitting body suit. Anyone a tiny bit taller may have wedgie problems I have a 48" bust, 35" waist, 174 lbs and this fits like the picture. Not as roomy as I would like. I don't see where they get the 'up to 43" waist' measurement in the description. I would go up a size if your waist is bigger than 36", if you would like it baggy. Or opt for the wide size 4. The fleece material is a good thickness and very soft. Overall construction seems well made but I am hesitant on washing. I might have to hand wash or use gentle cycle. The grip bottom on the footies seems like it wouldn't withstand the machine. The only reason I purchased is because I have a onesie party to go to and I needed that perfect 'Christmasy' one. This fits as in looks but the price, in my opinion, is way too high. $65 including shipping for a onesie? OUCH. If the company comes significantly down on their pricing, I would purchase more in different styles.
