I was initially going to return the sand because the colour is not as the photo, it is not golden, which I prefer. However, I decided to keep it and I am so glad I did. The colour is very natural and looks great in my tank. I did rinse it several times in a bucket with a hose but it was much less dirty than previous sand substrates I have used and the cloudiness in the tank was minimal and cleared within a matter of about 3 hours. Would definitely buy again.

A fairly small-medium sized grain of sand. I'd estimate around 0.5-0.8mm grains. Took a reasonable amount of rinsing, around 5-6 very thorough rinses before the water was anywhere near clearish. Looks great now.

Good quality gravel with the benefit and convenience of having it delivered to the door. My only disappointment was that the larger bags were out of stock. Maybe not the ideal and most economical way to purchase but it was needed in a hurry. Having now prepared the gravel for the aquarium I have to say it was very clean and didn't take much rinsing prior to putting it in, and I am really pleased with the nice warm colour. Natural honey is certainly an apt name for the particular gravel and it's looking good in its newly set up aquarium!

I normally use black gravel in my aquariums but I purchased a couple of smaller tanks and thought it would be good to add a bit of colour to make them look brighter and this stuff is really nice dual-coloured gravel. It adds a nice bit of colour to the aquariums and it goes pretty far being 8KG. I will consider buying other colours in the future if the need arises.

The sand arrived fast, it’s a nice colour for my tanks and the corys/bettas seem to like it. The lighter colour is good for highlighting waste and plant parts making cleaning easier. It did require a few rinses in buckets with a hose to get the dust out but not as much as most brands I have tried. Settled in the tank within 12 hours using a fx2 filter with floss pad added

Arrived on time, well packaged and very polite delivery driver. Looks great in the fish tank, especially when the moonlight function is on in the tank. The neon particles really glow and looks amazing. Great value for money.

Looks great in the tank and the Corys love digging around in it. I was worried it was looking a bit dark when washing it but under the aquarium light it looks lovely.I washed in a bucket about 10 times before adding to the tank. Water was still a bit cloudy but the whole tank was being rescaped so may not be entirely because of the sand. All in all, pleased with the purchase.

This aquarium gravel has been doing a good job since 2013 covering the bottom of a 40 litre tank to an excellent depth thanks to a generous 8kg bag. The multicoloured grains of red, white and blue arrived well packed in a thicker than typical plastic bag, ensuring that the contents didn't spill during transit. It arrived reasonably dusty so was placed in a washing up bowl for swilling under a cold water tap for 15 minutes which soon sorted this issue out. The grains themselves have been carefully profiled so that tropical fish will not catch their delicate fins and gills on any sharp edges, each grain is smooth which is a feature I like a lot. They allow aquarium ornaments to be solidly and easily sited to give the fish things to explore whilst ensuring that those objects remain secured in position with just a little pressure to bed them in.The use of three colours adds an attractive feature to the base of the tank and apart from an initial residual dustiness they've stayed in good condition for six years and should give many more happy years of service. Occasional green algae does build up on the gravel however, but I've found this easy to deal with by picking up handfuls and turning it around which seems to dislodge the problem algae. The profile of the beads used means that it is easy to form the gravel into positions other than a purely flat surface to give the fish a bit of variety and interest - I've tried moulding the gravel with one corner higher than the rest, with the bottom looking like sand dunes which resemble the fishes natural environment more and the gravel always stays where it is placed. A nice, simple product that does the job it's designed for, both form and function have clearly been thought through.

Es una bolsita pequeñita, para lo que vale está muy caro , las piedras vienen la mayoría en trozos diminutos que depende si la quieres para mascotas tipo pecera o fuente de pájaros corre el peligro que se las traguen
