Update:Stopped working. Doesn't light up anymore. Possibly not waterpoof. It functioned for 4 months max.August:I'm actually thinking this device is working. I took it down to return it and the barking got worse. This was a month ago and since then, the barking has decreased even more. Coincidence? I'm not about to return it to find out. So the dog still barks, but stops after a roof roof roof. Sometimes it won't shut up if there's another dog or animal, but the everyday, regular barking has drastically improved. Not an immediate fix. I could see why people could think it isn't working at first.. i mean.. look at my Review below from a month so.. i was convinced it did nothing.. haha. Also, i put something over the light that flashes in the device, cause at night it was blinking brightly into their yard.. they probably think I'm recording them. 🙃July 2019:Barking device has no effect on any of the dogs. My neighbor's pomaRIDthething has an awful sound of a bark that wakes me up in the middle of the night and jolts me with a stressful impulse during the day when I'm trying to relax. I put the device on a tree right next to the fence so it's only a few inches into my side of the fence, but it's above the fence with nothing blocking it. I tried it in other locations such as on my roof, but this was the closest, being about 3-15 feet from where the little crap barks. No effect. I don't think the dog even hears it. The dog is about a 1-2 years old so it's not hard of hearing.

Update: after a month of working, it stopped working for one of our outside dogs. Unfortunately, because the sleep i was getting was amazing. Not sure what to do now.Holy moly...just buy it! We have two outside dogs...they barked at night when they were puppies but then it leveled off after they got older. We have a lady that started up a rescue for dogs like a pasture length away. Our dogs started barking ALL night...for several months I would have to get up and go yell at them only for it to help for about a minute! Finally one night at 3am and in my sleep deprived feelings I frantically searched amazon for something that we could use that didn’t involve a collar....this...it was less than 20 bucks and I didn’t care....if it didn’t work, oh well it was worth a shot....y’all it works!!! I turn it on before we go to bed and turn it off in the morning....we have had it for alittle over a week and have not been woken up once by barking! The only thing is i wish it had a remote or timer so it would turn off and on and I wouldn’t have to go outside but I will do it, if it means I get a good nights sleep!

I ordered one to set inside the window that my dogs bark at deer through. I can hear when the device triggers, but it doesn't seem like the dogs take note. Even if it didn't stop the behavior, I expected them to at least notice... I'll have to test these on a spectral analyzer to see what db they're outputting, but I suspect that it's pretty low.

Had this deployed to silence my neighbor’s barking dog. Did not seem to have any effect. Talking to my neighbor to get the dog to be kept inside did work however, haha. Live and learn. Sometimes the simplest solution is best.

I have neighbors that leave their dogs out and they bark alot sometimes. I was hoping this would quiet them down. If it made any difference at all it's not much. This thing eats the 9 volt batteries pretty quick too. This was a waste of money.

The product I think will work, however we've been having some weather cooler than the device is supposed to work inI haven't used it, as soon as the weather warms, I will try it....

Thanks to your products, we are beginning to enjoy a reprieve for our neighbor's annoying dogs and being able to enjoy our backyard again.
