Q: Could you seal glass jar for oil product ?

Yes. Put the foil side down on the glass, put a plastic top on the jar and the induction sealer goes past the plastic lid down to the foil and due to the metallic properties of the foil it melts it to the glass. Then take the plastic top off and throw away the card backing of your foil seal if you dont want it loose under the top. Foil side to glass... thats how it works.
