Great replacement for the original
Plug and play! No ballast BS or anything. Bright too!

Good direct flourescent replacement
Used them for under cabinet lighting in kitchen. The bulb contacts are a little hard to get into the old fixture but they work great. Left the old starters in the fixture and they switched on immediately. Great light coverage. Way brighter than the old flourescents. No problems yet after about 2 months of use.

Great light, but not the best fit for some F20T12 fixtures
Bright light compared to the ecolux 20W daylight white bulb (F20-T12-D-eco) it was replacing. Very slightly too long for the fixture; some light filing to remove burs on the contact pins allowed it to fit properly however. Should have been 30second installation; became a 20 minutes task due to length.Hasn't burnt out in the 20 minutes since installing...

Instant-on, brighter, precise color temperature, and energy-saving.
I installed one of these in a basement sink fixture and then realized we haven't been using the light over our 1st floor sink, because it flickered forever, then settled on a booger-colored light. These are much brighter- LEDs are directional, so all the light comes out- it's not bouncing around so much inside the fixture- you get the stated lumens! Always replace the starter when you replace the bulb! If your ballast doesn't use a starter, then forget that part, but if you hook up any bulb in a fluorescent fixture without a new starter, you could be abusing your new bulbs. These bulbs are quiet. Now, I can hear the ballast, which I never heard before, because the old bulbs sang their own song. I don't notice any flicker. I bought the 5000k for good daylight color-rendering, and because I need accurate color to use my aquarium water test kits.I can't rate longevity except to say: these are LEDs designed to work with a ballast/starter. If your ballast/starter are working within spec (i.e. new starter or good ballast), then these bulbs should work for a very long time, as long as they don't get too hot or get banged around. I have no qualms about giving 5 stars for longevity, because these bulbs are in stationary fixtures, working perfectly, and I have no plans to do anything silly to see if I can break them. These are great bulbs!

Works Exactly As It Should!
Bought to replace a burned out Philips F20T12 bulb in the closet. I really wanted to swap to LED but without having to do any wiring. This bulb delivers!Super easy to just twist in. The diameter of the bulb seems smaller than the old one, but caused no issues. Length correct, pins slid right in. Turned it on in under 30 seconds, super pleased!I also believe it's brighter than the old bulb (which may have been dimming at its age). But apples to apples it puts off more light for sure. This is the cool white color (same as my old bulb).

Very bright
I bought 2 of these to replace the fluorescent lights over our kitchen sink. They are very bright and I like the daylight color in the kitchen. The fixture takes 2 bulbs and I probably could get by with just 1 bulb in it. Replaced the old bulbs with no alterations needed.

“Plug and Play”! Installed in seconds, no rewiring, replacing the fluorescent bulb with LED!
When we built our home almost ten years ago, the builder installed fluorescent (cfl) fixtures in all of our closets. Here in western Massachusetts, in our town, you have to pay the refuse transfer station $25.00 per cfl bulb once they burn out. So I’ve been steadily replacing all cfl bulbs with LEDs…and when doing so, it’s important that you don’t have to rewire the fixture to bypass the ballast, to accept the LED bulb This was simply a “plug and play” replacement…no tools, no rewiring…..and the closet is now as bright as ever. And without the danger of breaking a fluorescent bulb…or having to pay “extra” once this one burns out!

Great light and much brighter than the Fluorescent tube it replaced
Easy to install and much brighter than the dull yellow fluorescent tube it replaced. Now hoping it last for years like the fluorescent one has.
