PlanDollhouse My First Doll House

I bought this house for my preschool classroom. I loved the simple design and someone had donated a set of Plan Toys furniture. Today, one of the children in my class easily ripped the room divider on the second floor. The divider was very flimsy. It was not wood but cardboard. I am very disappointed and will try to tape it back in place tomorrow . This is not a sturdy toy and it was a waste of money.

I bought this for my daughter (21 months) for Christmas after searching and searching for a dollhouse that was 1) age appropriate, 2) not made of cheap plastic, and 3) was a color I would put in the family areas of our modern house (please no more pink!). She absolutely loves this house. I was a little worried she would be too young for it, but she is able to play with the dolls and furnishings I purchased and was playing very contently and independently Christmas morning. I know she will also enjoy it for years to come. It's very well made, but easy to assemble. I really appreciate that it is made of recycled products, and feels sturdy. Lastly, it looks great in our home and won't be stashed away in her room but out in the open for hours of play. I liked this version better than the one with the flowered wallpaper, as it's more our family's "style". Overall, a great first dollhouse and a purchase I am very happy with.

Excellent for boys and girls. Well-made and sturdy, simply designed so that it encourages creative play.

This is a great first dollhouse for any little kid. It's sturdy and was easy to assemble. I love the moving doors and flexibility for staging rooms. It fits nicely on our small kid size activity table and isn't too heavy to move around.
