UPDATED 11/2/18 Having connection issues again. Downgrading to 3 stars reluctantly. See below.
Wanted to replace my bluetooth option for better quality audio that also wasn't interrupted with notifications from the phone when playing music. This adapter is performing beautifully so far, with noticeably better sound quality! Fits inside the center console glove box of my 2008 Prius discreetly. It does not connect automatically each time you enter the vehicle (you select via airplay), but it does power on automatically and is simple to connect to. Connection is then solid and unlike the other review, I have not had any issues with volume. Frankly, my ears would give out before I maxed the volume on my car stereo with this. It's a bit pricey compared to other options, but I'm very pleased given the performance and sound quality thus far.Update 10/23/18Was having issues with connecting once back in my car and selecting Linka via control center on my iPhone 8. It would connect fine, but then when I switched to music and selected a song to play - it would give an "Unable to Connect" error message. After a second attempt it would always connect and play fine, but this quickly became mildly annoying. So I emailed Nexum support via their website support system and literally had response in less than an hour - from Taiwan no less!! They suggested since I had just purchased and that they suspected a possible wifi hardware issue to just return to Amazon and re-order a replacement, rather than put me through loops trying to troubleshoot the issue. However, I got to thinking maybe it was a software issue on my iPhone side and decided before sending it back to try a static IP/manual connection. So into the wifi settings on my iPhone I went and did just that. Glad I did! Now it works right from the start and reliably. In fact, if I am only out of the car short periods of time - it will stay connected to the Linka and not require me to manually do so again. I suspect this is may be my auxiliary port not powering off immediately, as this doesn't always happen - but great when it does. The bonus of this device is not having any annoying notifications interrupt my music now like my prior bluetooth adapter had done. That was jarring sometimes! So while there was a minor hiccup, the amazing response time from support and the fact that I can have lossless audio via airplay in my car while not compromising my LTE cellular connection (see pic verifying both connections) earns an easy 5 stars from me!Update 11/2/18Downgrading to 3 stars due to re-occurrence of connection issues. Not sure what the problem is. Sometimes it will connect first time and hold the connection, but more often than not lately it is taking an additional attempt...sometimes 3. May end up returning before return window expires and trying something else. Bummed, because I do love the airplay functionality; but the connection issue becomes annoying. I also have an ES100 Earstudio and may resort to using that or getting another to keep in the car.

Great sound.
When connected, the sound quality from the Wolfson DAC is excellent. It is better than my OE in-dash CD player and better than what I get over Bluetooth which is not a surprise for an iOS iPhone. If you have an Android, you may be able to get good Bluetooth sound with AptX.In addition, after mixing their respective audio line outputs, I can use simultaneously the LINKA to play music or use Google Maps and my Bluetooth adapter for phone calls and to control the Music app (since the LINKA will not stream a phone call). It was a pleasant surprise to find out that during a call, the Bluetooth device will take over the sound stream only temporarily and after the call the music will continue to stream over the WiFi LINKA connection. Also the ability to browse the web while being connected to the LINKA is a great convinience. The reason for removing a star is related to my inability to make my iPhone to connect to the LINKA automatically when I get into the car and turn on the key the power it on. Instead, I had to do it manually (in addition to the need to manually select LINKA for Airplay). The reason is that my iPhone maintains its last WiFi connection which happen to be my home router which is available way beyond my driveway. This is likely due to the fact that the LINKA network is not secure and is the last network my iPhone will connect to, independently of the strength of the WiFi signal.

Junk. Doesnt work
Jealous at the people who said it pumps out great sound. I never got to hear any. Item uses airplay to connect to your (apple) phone so you connect to it via wifi and by picking the ssid in your wifi list. I was able to initially connect to the device ssid, select it in pandora via airplay, but it would not play any sound. I connected it to the input jack on my car stereo (every thing else that I connect to that jack works)Now I'm unable to connect to it at all. Indicator lites up solid blue but no connection listed. Junk. Returning. Will be shopping for something with better quality control.

Very good sound and everything is perfect. Unfortunately, the volume is low.
