Good sound, Horrendous remote
I've had this about a week now, and I can certainly say it sounds great. A definite improvement over my lower end TV's speakers. As far as that goes, the space my TV is in is a fairly small room, and I have no plans to crank it to the max or anything, but voices are clear, and, if I want to turn up the bass, it's fairly impressive for the price. Perfectly satisfied on that front. The remote however is another story. This thing is an abomination. I frequently have to press the mute button up to 5 times before it actually does anything (and I know the button press is being received by the speaker, because the power light conveniently flashes when you do give it a signal). In fact, just now, it took over 5 presses, and instead of muting, or even doing nothing, the mute button actually was turning the volume up! Another thing, which at first I found a little comical, is frequently, after pressing a button on the remote, instead of the intended action happening, the speaker, and I'm not kidding, actually says "oops".I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm hoping the bar is compatible with my universal remote. I'm not holding my breath.ETA: The remote is worse than I had originally posted. There's about a 75% chance any time I want change the volume, the soundbar will shut off instead. It is NOT compatible with my universal remote. It _DOES NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH! The remote the sent me doesn't even look like the remote pictured.

LOVE it
I bought this for my dad who is deaf as a post and can't get the sound loud enough on any of his stuff when he's working in his little shed. He couldn't wear his hearing aids or a headset because of what he wears to do his carving - so he needed something that would operate with Bluetooth and still be loud enough to hear. I found this and he's delighted! It's LOUD. I find it painful to sit near it when he's got it on and to talk to him he has to turn it off - but he can hear it and smaller devices made for streaming music etc just didn't get the job done, nor did the speakers on his tv. The price CANNOT be beat - I wasn't even sure I could *find* something with all his weird criteria but this fit everything. It looks nice, it's well built and despite never having heard of the brand this has really nice sound and is slim enough to fit almost anywhere.

You're taking a chance when you buy this thing
I had this for about two months before it started acting up on me. I brought it to use with a new smart TV I purchased for as an early Christmas gift and used the optical cord to connect to the television. It worked fine for a while. Sound was pretty good, not great, but it was better than the internal speakers in the television. Then one day when I turned on the TV and turned on the sound bar, I heard a loud hissing noise, and now that's all I hear. The sound was unbearable so I had to turn it off. The RCA cords that came with the sound bar are no good... I tried to connect it using that way and nothing happened...no sound at all. Bluetooth works fine in companionship with my laptop and iPod, and that's probably why I gave it two stars. It's a bust as far as the TV goes, and that's what I purchased it for in the first place! It's absolutely unusable for that purpose. Ironically it stopped working right after the date I could return it. The remote that it came with isn't even the same as the one pictured. For now I'll have to depend on the TV speaker while I search for a better quality soundbar...disappointed in this purchase.

Good speaker for the money
Not sure why someone would need a $200 soundbar, this one does the trick. I bought it primarily because of the 110volt plug in feature. It is installed in a home gym to amplify cruddy cheap TV with awful speakers - you know the kind - buy at Walmart for $60.00 but can't hear much because the speakers are awful. Cardio equipment drowned out the TV so this thing is mounted on the ceiling. Could have bought a Bluetooth speaker but didn't want to worry about recharging speaker or managing an external Bluetooth transmitter on the TV. This is installed 25' from the TV using a 30' digital audio cable. Tried a 3.5mm cable but distance too far. Buy this one. You won't feel cheated. Shipped fast.

POS
I should have read the reviews. It's a real piece of junk. Wouldn't work with included cable, so ordered an optical cable. Finally got it to work, but like others have said, my TV speakers are much louder than this thing. Will be going into the trash, where it belongs!

Wont turn on after 31 days.
Literally one day after I can't return it because it is 31 days after delivery. And the return window is 30 days. Now it won't turn on. It worked fine and then all of a sudden it shut off and it won't turn back on. All the outlets are good and I have double check them the Soundbar just won't turn on now. It was a 5-star product but now I would stay away from it. It's very interesting that one day after I can't return it anymore it shuts down and won't turn on. What a waste of money

great sound, great price
Great way to improve the inadequate sound that my 40 inch "bedroom" TV came with. No point in spending more on your sound bar than you payed for the TV. This rounds out the tinny sound of small speakers that my TV came with. Plenty of inputs. Adequate bass without a separate sub-woofer.

Modest increase of sound
I purchased for a second room. The sound bar included all necessary cabling, although the optical cord won't be long enough for a basic set up. As for the sound quality it is fair slightly better than a pc speaker system. This bar provides a modest increase in sound. You can only tell it's on when the TV volume is slightly lower otherwise not noticeable.I wish that I had paid more attention to the speacker output wattage. You get what you pay for.
