GOOD Info For A GOOD reel
I bought this Reel With no expectations and now that I have used it for an entire season I can honestly say I am more impressed with its performance than any other. I am a salt water angler off the Texas coast and this reel has been put to the test with several other competitors from the usual three on amazon up to a couple $200+ reels and this is what I have found: compared to the advanced drag and mag systems it has about 85-90 % casting distance (less than 1/2 ounce total weight ) other than that factor it has outlasted the big brands and has handled the bigger fish with the same action of the big brand names. great drag system, very durable bearings, and excellent spool tracking! mix all those things with a year of salt water and I could not have been happier with my 34 dollar purchase, its been almost a year and the reel sits on a $259 rod as my first string QB!

Good reel for sure!
I have been fishing many years and have used several brands of reels. Zebco was always one of my favorites growing up. I watched some videos of some of the new reels out there these days and decided to try this one. Boy am I glad I did. This is a great reel for your money. I would put it up against some of the more expensive big brand names that's twice the price of this one. I am so happy with it that I would probably buy another one this summer.

Cost me a $100 rod
Absolutely loved it at first. Put it on my favorite rod. Extremely far casting capability. Out to 50+ yards on 3/8 oz baits. Extremely accurate. I noticed quite a bit on tension on the thumb button when I had my bait stowed. Over time the tension increased. Had it lock up on me once during a far cast. Don’t think anything of it. Happened again on my kayak and the momentum of my bait flying pulled it right out of my hand and sunk it in 47ft of water. Only recommended on cheap rods.

Good reel for the cost smooth action even with heavier line
I bought this reel for bass fishing instead of buying an academy reel that was much pricier. I liked the gold on carbon look and hoped it looked as good in person. The documents are all in Chinese but the reel is great quality and functions well, I equipped mine with 30lb test braided line and have fished twice with it and it did very well for the cost

For the price it functions
For the price it was a good buy, obviously it’s not a 300 dollar real but for my first baitcaster it was a good buy. My only real complaint or issue is the tension button came off and the handle grips is a little uncomfortable. I would buy this item again.

Great reel
This is the first baitcaster that I have ever owned. And I wasn't sure that it would be a perfect fit for me and my fishing stuff. I am so glad to report that I was absolutely wrong. I have this very specific reel connected to a trout boy rod holding 30 lb braided line. it is so smooth to use and retrieve that I fell in love after the first use.

Looks good but broke almost instantly 😕
Don't bother unless your a master at fixing baitcasters because that's what you will be doing if you buy this. I got this and casted it about 25 times before some internal gearing disintegrated and rendered the reel unusable. Sent back and got an Abu garcia one which hasn't skipped a beat. Just spend the extra money on a reel that actually works.
