4 slots with ample room for cash management. The Matter is our new favorite wallet here at Pioneer. If you need more room than a card holder, but are trying to downsize from your leather bifold, this is the best choice.

Futuristic and Small
The matter, on the outside and folded, is the right size. Right size for your palm, front pocket, and inner pocket of a jacket. It is really light and thin, and thus far I’ve used it with 6 cards and up to 5 bills. I particularly like the feature of having 2 cars slots for most frequently used cards, and a place to put away the rest along with bills folded in half. Very handy, especially since the designs allows you to reach into the wallet and pick your most used card without unfolding the wallet, making it more convenient than a bifold wallet, but still keeping your cards and ID out of sight. Terrific! However, it doesn’t flatten all the way, and despite being small and not being super packed with cards, it creates bulk in my trousers and jeans front pocket. My hope is that it eventually breaks in and softens and flattens. Flattening seems possible, since the wallet does feel like “steel” or metal at the spine, and thus potentially moldeable. I will update my review after more time passes and see if I, and the other online reviews, are correct. (Note the first three pictures for size and how it sits on its own and how it looks currently packed with 5 cards and one bill and nothing else). The reason for only 3 Stars is that once open, one of the slots for the cards is wider than the other one. The difference is subtle especially in the Onyx color, but you can see it in the fourth picture, it’s the slot on the left with the blue card inside. This means that this slot is kind of lose and my card would fall with a little shake of the wallet :-/ which is not good. Thank have to really press the card down to feel it’s actually secure, which isn’t necessary with the other card slot.Summary: good design and cool wallet that once it flattens and breaks in fully has the potential to not add any bulk to a front pocket. Perhaps the one I got doesn’t have the right tightness in both of the card slots.

Expensive
Expensive for it's quality finish. The card slots are misaligned, and the material is very uncomfortable; think of a hard credit card plastic material. I'd be okay at $12-$25 . Not at $85 .

Solid look and design
Really dig the wallet. Looks modern and minimalist. Material seems very sturdy. It comes pretty stiff but starts to break in. I’ve already received a lot of compliments on the look.

Great minimalist wallet
Very slick wallet. Feels like it will never break.Minimalist aesthetic, great if you prefer to just carry a few cards and a few twenties. Also good for business cards, which don't get bent at the corners like in a leather wallet. At first it was a bit of a tight squeeze to work the cards into the pockets, but it's broken in just enough to be very convenient to use. Gotta say, it feels pretty good to pull this thing out on a date or at a business event.
