My husband purchased this for me because I enjoy Cardinals in our backyard. I don't remember it having very good instructions to put together but my husband figured it out. It's not a super strong unit but it works well for us. It fell over once because we didn't have it anchored well in the yard after a hard rain. Haven't had any problems since then. Another purchase we made from Amazon: iPrimio Deluxe Squirrel-Raccoon Stopper 18". We installed it on the feeder pole. It has completely kept the squirrels from getting to the seeds. We had to place the pole away from the rain barrel to keep the squirrels from launching onto the pole. They tried but were unsuccessful!!

This is a really nice feeder. It is tall enough to be able to put a squirrel baffle on, which many shepherd hooks are not. It is very sturdy, even after big, fat squirrels land on it out of a tree. It was also easy to put in the ground, even in rocky soil. It has four hooks for hanging feeders, two of which you can place where you want. It also has two trays, one for feed and one that could be used for water. I put the one for feed down at the bottom of the pole to feed the squirrels to try to keep them off the feeder while I get my baffle installed (purchased separately) and find a place where the squirrels can't jump on it out of a tree or bush. I really like it, and I will probably end up buying a second one. If you are looking for a nice, tall, sturdy feeder, you will be happy with this one.

I bought this a year ago and within 10 months the “third sprocket” broke off, leaving it to be up to the weather to decide if the feeder was standing or not. Love the look, love the hangers, but now useless and need to purchase something new. Three stars for its ease and usefulness, but doesn’t last long.

This is a perfect bird feeder to get mine to return. Dec 1st. in Az. All my birds have literally flown the coop. Only have 2 hummingbirds left. The finches used to drink from the sugar water but all dissappeared. I put this up on a Saturday. Within a half hour of putting it up I was being watched by around 7 larger birds on my fence. They got as close as the tree next to it but didn't feed from it. I thought oh great. The next day, holy cannolly. There must have been 20 birds surrounding it. Yeah! They love the basket feeder tray the most. And I have 2 bird fountains I couldn't get the birds to drink from in 2 years. They went for the water tray right away. I couldn't be happier! I did anchor it to a fence post with a hose clamp because it is verrrrry windy at my house.

I love all the features on this. I set it up in front of my home office window. When I have a chance I look up to see a hummingbird feeding I saw a bird drinking from the water bath plus I have a sunflower feeder that had lots of bird attention. I used the tray to add dried worms. My 4 rating is because I had to add a rock to the prong to make it more level, still not quite level. I love all the arms for feeding. I just need to add a finch feeder on it and I'll be happy

My only issue was that the pole base wasn’t sturdy enough when a strong wind knock it down. I used two metal fence stakes to support the base and no problems since. I have spent 3 times as much for a similar system in the past and this system is as good as the more expensive one I purchased.

Not as bad as some reviews!+Easy to assemble+Taller than me (5' 10")+Easy adjustable arms+Great price- A bit wobbly but, withstands the wind & my 3 Droll Yankee + the 3 feeders that came with it.- If you want a sturdier station, spend the $$$*So far, so good with the squirrels (without a baffle) but, they have a better & easier access feeder for diversion.Overall, I'm Delighted to have it in my yard.

Great feeding station, the only flaw is the stability. The trident stakes don't hold up in high winds. Every time it storms, my feeders are leaning. Longterm I will have to fabricate something better.
