I was kind of skeptical of the price of this item because I bought my wife a competitor, (which I won't mention) model, which worked well but had to replace every year, I found this model to be as good as or better than that model, the left behind alert on my phone works very well, I had some problems getting the unit to beep when I was searching for it, but I realized my app was out of date, after the upgrade from playstore It works great, in the find it mode, it has a loud beep that can even be heard by us Old Folks. In closing $20 well spent.

My wife has a tendency to forget her phone sometimes, so I wanted to try these things out. I researched all of these trackers for about a week, and found a pretty convincing video on Youtube about the nut. But I really wanted the separation alarm feature, and after trying this one out, I think it is probably better than all the rest. The app is really well thought out, and the range on this thing is much farther then I thought it would be, probably like 100 feet or more line of sight. However, because of walls and other things, you still can get false alarms sometimes, but the App for Nut is really great, there are multiple ways to stop false alarms or unwanted alarms. there is a WiFi feature where it will not alarm if your phone is connected to a certain WiFi, but you also can set Silent times say like while you are at work, and you also can set a location and a distance around that location. Also there is a timer if you want to disable it for a short time. You still can use the call feature in silent zones. Some other things I like, I don't like 3rd party apps tracking me, so I just didn't allow GPS access for this device on my phone, yes, you loose some of the tracking features, but I still get notifications when my keys and phone are separated. For my wife I left the tracking features turned on for her, she is more likely to have her keys in her purse so it is important for her. For the manufacturers information I think the only thing that I would like is a hole big enough to put a key ring through, the string seems like it will be okay, but I would feel better with a key ring. I might look around for a small ring, maybe it is possible to get one on there, but I also think people would pay extra for a ring made for the nut.

If you are like me and spend a few days a week looking for your keys than I suggest this device. I am ridiculous when it comes to putting my keys down without thinking I do have a hook by the front door. This did help, but I was still finding my keys in the pantry, bathroom, or my kid's backpack. The app was super easy to set up and now I can call my keys when I lose them.

I am forever losing my keys and my phone and this is the perfect solution to that. It was really easy to set up and its surprisingly loud but by far I think the best feature is that the device will let you know if you're leaving your phone behind (which I've also done more than once) . Another really great feature is that you can ping your phone from the device as well as obviously pinging the device from your phone. Overall i'm really so glad I got it!!

The product is supposed to: 1. allow you to locate your item within a distance, 2. provide notification when you're away from your item, 3. ring when you're disconnected from your item. The product fails in all 3 functions. You're randomly disconnected when you're right next to your item, which causes it to go off randomly and disrupts whatever you're doing. The product doesn't connect with your phone until you've already found and are right next to your item, which defeats the whole purpose of paying for this product. The notifications are equally unreliable because you receive notifications when you're right next to your item, rendering them useless. The product fails on all 3 aspects of its supposed function and doesn't live up to its promises, so you can't count on this product to keep your belongings safe. In addition, customer support is non existent. For all those reasons this item is a waste of money. You're better off spending your money on another tracker, than to waste it on this unreliable product.

I wanted to test the quality prior to committing to a multipack even though it’s a better value. To summarize the product it basically beeps when you want to find it close by using the app or have it set up so that if the two devices are far enough alerts are set off. I don’t think I would use the device as the latter unless the range was improved by adding GPS which this does not really have. I thought it would record the locations of where it was last so if I lost my keys or wallet it would then be able to find it. That is not the case which Is why I will stick to the one I have. It works well for my need - Every time my toddler hides the remote control, I open the app and track down the really loud beeping. The battery seems easy to replace which I also like. The thickness and size of this may or may not suit your needs if you want it wide but thin this may not be the best one as it is short and thick. It works well for it is - a beep finder. I do wish the price was a little lower or have GPS for me to fully recommend it at the current price point.

My husband is constantly losing his keys, and other items. With this, he doesn't have to run around searching for them forever anymore. It has been a lifesaver. Easy to use, has a loud beep that can be easily heard. I love that the battery is replaceable with ones that I can buy at almost any store. Plan to buy a few more.

The item description on Amazon clearly states for use with iphone 4.0 or above. When you receive the item, the directions state that it requires iphone 8.0 or above. Needles to say, it didn't work with my 7.0
