Hilarious

I haven’t finished the book yet but I think it’s great. She’s funny and down to earth and makes dealing with anxiety a little easier. If you have a sense of humor I recommend this. If you like the ingrown toenail in a cheap red hat, maybe don’t get it because it might hurt your feelings :)

The best book I ever read. Being handed around.

There is nothing I can say but very good

Still reading, still applying.

This purchase was timely as it’s helping me through a stressful remodel triggered my a new multigenerational living situation, losing my job when I’m the sole breadwinner, and now the uncertain outcome of the US presidential election.I’m just started the book and will share a full review later. But for now, it’s keeping my mind off the liquor cabinet.

Politics

I’ve just started so I can’t give this a true review, but one thing I wish the author had done was leave politics out of it. Politics is a source of frustration and anxiety for many and bringing your political views to a book to help people deal with their anxiety just isn’t right. Hopefully this book gets better.

Have Anxiety? Get mad easy? Then buy this

I have never read a self-help book. I picked this one up because I found the title amusing. The author is not a therapist, but more like a friend who can be honest with you. It might not be right for everyone, but it was for me.

Awesome read

Sara Knight is a true comedian. I'm sure she might not identify as one, but I literally erupted in laughter countless of times as I read this text. Although, she is not a doctor; she gives realistic advice pertaining to the minor things we stress out about and even the major things. I'd rather take my advice from someone who has experienced anxiety because I feel we can relate to each other.

Humorous and helpful!

Whether a problem is big or small, whether or not it has a solution, worrying is not going to fix anything. While this book might not tell you anything you don't know, it delivers the message with humor and kindness (and, yes, snark as well) that might make it stick this time. I also appreciated that it acknowledges not all worry is created equally, we each react to the world around us in some ways that are unique to ourselves, and perhaps most importantly that some kinds of anxiety are best treated medically (and that's okay!).

Ready for change

Only getting started but I definitely need to finish this. So far what I have read it makes me stop and think that I look at everything completely wrong. Looking forward to finishing it and making some major changes.

Not a patch on the other two books I have read from this series

Much as I loved ‘The Life-Changing Magic...’ and ‘Get Your Sh*t Together’, I found this addition to the series somewhat formulaic and simplistic but did flag some ideas that might be useful. However, the excessive repetition, especially regarding ‘dealing with your chosen adventure’, is extremely irritating and totally unnecessary. Took the edge off what could have been a good, if superficial, read. Has made me think twice about ‘You Do You’.

Humorous!

Really like the author’s books and only have one to go. This is definitely not for everyone, but if you want a light hearted approach to helping you get anxiety under control, this is a good choice for you. It hasn’t solved all my problems (not was I expecting it to), but it has helped me put things into perspective.

You need to buy this book

Witty well written and really helpful ways to deal with stress and anxiety. Extremely easy to read. Will be purchasing other books by this author.

Missed the spot for me - shame

Enjoyed the rest of Sarah Knights books but never gelled with this one. But I still highly recommend the author and other her other works - books are such subjective items
