I am impressed with this umbrella. I didn't have to buy it; I already have two, but I bought this one so I could get into prison. I'm a volunteer prison minister. Some prisons will let you carry an umbrella; others won't. The ones that will have certain standards that must be adhered to. The one I'm working with now is a maximum security institution and will only permit umbrellas that are made with fiberglass. Well, this one fit the bill. Not only that, it has a nice case with a sling that allows me to carry it when I'm not using it in the case without using my hands. I can carry stuff that I need to tote - hands-free. The umbrella doesn't look like a classical manner when it's out of the case, but when it is open, it is wonderfully large, stable, and beautiful to look at. There's room for two people. Plenty of room in the tent! When it's open, you can hold things in your hands, because you can tuck the specially designed handle between your arm and body so that you can also carry things in your hands while staying dry. It's another hands-free operation while keeping you dry. The price is right, and the quality is built in. I'm †ed W, and I approve this message.

*****Edited****After using this umbrella for approximately 14 rainy days, the wind caught it and turned it inside out and broke one of the spokes. Since it’s double layered, the spoke went through the fabric and can’t be fixed. I’m disappointed.I love the idea of this umbrella, but the functionality of it could be improved. The latch to keep it open doesn't always catch/hold and I've only used it for a short period of time. The handle is too heavy for it to truly be "hands free." But it was the only larger inverted umbrella that I found.

This is a very - very nice umbrella. Not the cheapest on Amazon, but it is worth the few extra bucks. It is bigger then most, but not too big, and the carrying case is a feature that we didn't even know we wanted. There is nothing we would change about this umbrella ... love it!UPDATE: I guess we spoke to soon. Just tried to open the umbrella and one of the spines ripped through the material ... guess we will be returning itUPDATE: After only a few uses, one of the spines ripped through the material when opening it ... I guess we will be returning it and buying something else. To bad to, we really liked the umbrella.

This is my first experience with the inverted umbrella design. So far, this product feels solid, and has stood up to done seriously gusty weather. During those gusts, I realized that there is not much in the way of venting, so the wind really catches this umbrella.The latch is adequate, but not particularly impressive; sometimes it doesn't catch on the first try.The C-shaped handle is interesting and the rubberized surface feels good in the hand, but my hands are too big to fit easily in the C, and u find myself wishing for a straight or J handle.

Just used this Vitchelo Inverted Umbrella for the first time today...in a torrential downpour! It is amazing indeed! The inversion factor made getting in and out of the car easier and I stayed dry, too. Going to order several more, one for husband and for gifts. Love it!

This unbrella opens and closes easily and you never get wet or bring water into the house because the nature of the inverted design. I chose purple for my daughter's school colors and my husband is a UW fan so everyone's happy! It's worth it! Stay dry! Rebecca in Seattle

This umbrella is fantastic. I have purchased 4 of them. It is the reverse umbrella and it is a joy use. It was the hit of the mall when I opened it. Great Xmas gifts.

This umbrella works exactly as described, and having used it in the rain I'm happy with the build quality and the overall mechanism, and the fact that it folds up with the wet side on the inside is extremely practical in lots of situations. Plus I like the fact that it's a decent size, unlike many other umbrellas of this style.The reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the colour I received is different from the colour featured here in the advert. Instead of the dark, navy blue, featured on the website, the underside of the umbrella I received is a much lighter, more turquoise, almost 'baby blue' colour. This is unfortunate because I'd intended to use this umbrella for work, but the bright, light blue isn't suitable. Whilst it still functions fine, it's not what I thought I was getting, so be careful when you're picking your colour if you wanted a dark blue. Having said that, the seller got in touch to apologise and issued me with a refund, so you can buy with confidence as the customer service from Vitchelo is excellent (they even sent me a physical card.. through the post!)

The umbrella is too big.The handle is huge! How big does your hand/wrist need to be to become hands free?Is this umbrella designed for giants?

Had this umbrella for 3 months and it broke put it down to go in post office went to put it back up and it broke

As described. I am very pleased with it and is easy to use. Not used in the rain yet, but I’m sure it will be an improvement on my old umbrella, especially closing it whilst getting into my car. It comes with a cover too.

Le dimensioni erano quelle indicate nella scheda esplicativa pubblicata sul sito Amazon. La qualità dei materiali è molto buona. Purtroppo l'articolo è arrivato col manico leggermente storto e poi il pulsante di apertura e chiusura (l'ombrello non è automatico ma è manuale) a volte non regge bene. Mio figlio a mia insaputa lo ha raddrizzato alla meglio per cui non ho potuto più restituirlo. L'articolo è molto funzionale e particolare e lo consiglierei molto se non fosse per il problema del manico storto.

Ordinato e pagato per la versione 137 cm mi è stato spedito nella dimensione da 115 pagandolo di conseguenza più del dovuto.Vendita non corretta!!!!!

Oggi dopo un po’ di tempo che non piove come si deve, ho usato l’ombrello che purtroppo al primo colpo di vento (neanche troppo violento) si è rotto, alcune bacchette si sono spezzate rendendo impossibile il suo utilizzo, decisamente non antivento come descritto è decisamente molto delicato. Non all’altezza della sua presentazione, peccato mi aspettavo di meglio.

Come da descrizione,bello ,comodo e resistente,il metodo della chiusura al contrario è veramente utile,in più è abbastanza grande e non ci si bagna.Il manico è comodissimo,consigliato!

Esteticamente è sicuramente un prodotto originale. Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Ho riscontrato comunque dopo alcuni utilizzi dei problemi nell apertura e nell bloccaggio dell ombrello da aperto; molto spesso mi si richiudeva parzialmente da solo.

Excellent product. I've bought a number of reverse folding umbrellas from different sources and am most impressed with the ones I got from Vitchelo (I bought two from them so far). The quality is top notch despite the low price. Highly recommended.

Restituito perchè arrivato con colore diverso da quello ordinato e soprattutto dimensioni più piccola di quella pubblicizzata. Il prodotto comunque sembra di ottima fattura.

Just got my Vitchelo, it's a lot better than I expected, you can tell it's top notch quality by simply holding it, I got the black/grey color, it just looks amazing, worth every penny!
