Good quality and very stylish pendant.
Well built and very stylish pendant. Quite heavy though and requires proper support. I wouldn't just fix it to the plasterboard and hop for the best. Highly recommended.

Fantastic lights
Brilliant ... Can't fault the light, bought three of them n they are fantastic. It's great to have the flexibility to be able to move the lights higher or lower. Good quality and look a million dollars ... Finished the room off.

Very satisfied, they look great
These lights look amazing over our table. ignore the bad reviews, the pully system is easy to work out. The idea is that you work out how much you want the lights to lower down to the table beforehand, and then adjust them. We found we wanted ours a bit higher so had more cord to coil into the base unit, I made the adjustment but the electrician thought best to cut the length down (to much cable In the base), so this is what he did, I would suggest work out where you want them positioned first as this is the bit that takes the time, I measured the cord length so that both lights were equal in length. Look really great, very pleased.

Very good quality for price
Arrived when stated. Very happy with the quality. Looks very good. Advice get someone to hold the counter weight when fixing to ceiling.

First Light Century Rise and Fall light.
The rise and fall light is marvellous, extremely good value, and exactly what I wanted in my new kitchen.

Nice lamp but instructions could be better
Having originally written the review that follows, and had an email exchange with the supplier, the counterbalance was easily fixed by tightening a pulley. The only negative feedback I would have now would be that the instructions could be clearer. Loving the light now!Original review: "We've just fitted this light and we like it. However, the counterbalance doesn't seem to allow the lamp to be fully raised with a normal bulb in place. If you try an LED bulb, which is heavier, it doesn't raise at all. It's fine when you remove the bulb. Can this be adjusted? It could probably be fixed by adding weight to the counterbalance but it would spoil the appearance. I haven't heard from the manufacturers yet."
