The reason I bought this sump pump is because I have a swimming pool in my house every winter I have to pump gallons of water from my pool because of the rain. This pump has stainless motor and is not easy to rust eventually extends product life. Also stainless body make my cleaning job easier after I used it, extra long cord (about 10 meters) which allows the pump to be removed free I can remove the pump in different sections of the pool and easy automatic float switch is a plus feature compare to my older pump which it doesn’t have. It will automatically stop pumping the water when it reaches the initial level of water. This is very convient and easy operated sump pump would greatly recommend this product!

As expected and super fast delivery. Update 12/2019 - Although it has lasted while sitting in water, with no ill effects, it has been and continues to be a PAIN because the float apparently needs to be within a FEW degrees of vertical (up or down) to operate. Either the float cord is too thick or the interior design of the float needs redesign. I must continually tap the float to get it to turn on/off. A real pain. Even when water level is many inches above the unit. The engineers should not forget that when submerged in COLD water, the cord become more rigid. The length of the float cord would lead one to believe that the float could lie flat on the bottom of the sump, But that will NOT turn off the pump. I tethered the float cord to the side of the pump, making it shorter, but the float cord will NOT let the float move far enough to turn off. Still trying other options.

The pump seems to work fine but not getting any more flow rate than I did from less powerful pumps and the unit has started rusting at the bottom of my well. Update!! Pump stopped working after about 6 months as water seems to have accessed the engine.

I bought this for our pool 9 months ago. We’ve used it three so far. Last week we it to drain our entire pool for an acid wash. Took around 28 hours to drain 10,000 gallons of water, not bad!

It's a nice pump when it's working - yet it didn't last even 3 months.

this pump only comes on when it rains so it is not used much and lasted 2 months, buy someone else's product
