Looking for a temperature monitor.....you want this one!!!
I needed a temperature monitor for my walk in refrigerator. After calling several refrigerator service guys, the lowest bid I received was $1175 and then a $40 per month monitoring service. I ask, "Isn't there something out there that can text me or email me automatically, I don't need a manned service". Nope, almost all have a monitor contract service fee. I talked with several people from different companies and they all told me the same thing, and some were rather rude, "if you want it to work right, you have to have a service" I knew this was a line of crap I was getting. After stumbling upon this little miracle of a gem, I was thinking it was to good to be true. Wait a minute, a small unit, that takes regular AA batteries, logs all the temps and humidity to an indefinite online log that you can download to an excel spreadsheet if needed. It can text or email you (or as many people as you want) if the temperature you set goes out of any range you specify. You can even calibrate it to read correctly should you test it and it's off by a degree or two. The phone application, and the computer web page are outstandingly simple to use. Setup was super easy and fast. All of this for a 10th of the price of all the other garbage out there and no service contract. I see myself buying about 5 more of these in the near future. This is an AWESOME product.

Great Option for Remote Monitoring
I've been very happy with this device -- once I was able to set it up. Initially, it seemed to be working with my phone (Android) but the set up process would not complete. Finally, I tried my lap top (Windows 10) and the set up was a snap. I set up an automatic alert for low temperature. The condition has not been reached since setting the alert up. The only issue I've had and why I did not rate 5 stars is that we had a power outage and when my wi-fi came back up, the device did not re-connect. I had to go through the set up process again to get it to re-start monitoring. We don't experience power outages very often so, this isn't a really big deal.

Best Personal Temp Monitor on the Market
Amazing, amazing product! I cannot say this enough :-) It's app interface is easy to use and very detailed. The best part about this product compared to everything else on the market is that it doesn't require a subscription to get your alerts. I have recommended this product to so many other people, especially pet owners to monitor their pet's safety at home.

Money well spent!
Fantastic!! Works out of the box as soon as the battery is inserted. The smoothest installation ever! Temperature/humidity reading intervals can be customized. I set mine for every 15 minutes. My temp stick is in the greenhouse that's about 200 feet away from the house, and it connects to our wireless router just fine. I tried another brand for the same purposes, but it was a headache to make it work, so I decided to try this one based on the reviews. Money well spent! I'm a happy camper.

Tested highly accurate, data available on smart phone, pricey
Did the salt calibration test that is supposed to generate 75% humidity inside a closed container, and while it took several days, this sensor was almost exactly 75%. The email alert and phone app or web site login is a nice feature, as I can check my humidor when I think about it, wherever I might be.Only complaint is that it is expensive. If they offered discount for several, I'd get one for my storage humidor. The sensor is battery operated and easily moved, so if I needed to monitor a basement or something, it would be easy to do.

Hi priced but ok, there are cheaper alternatives but won't be made in U.S. like they claim this is.
HIghest priced single function thermometer. Easy to connect to app however the reading was frozen after connecting and there is no reset so removed the batteries then it seemed to work. As accurate as my cheap lacrosse. When selecting the app on phone the temp is not updated so you don't see the current temp until you push the Dash button to update the temp. The unit should at least update when you open the app. The temp numbers are small and hard to read, they should make the temp bigger so you don't have to put the phone close to your eyes. Update has only 3 selection, other monitors have many more down to one minute. It is accurate though and it comes with lithium batteries. You don't need a hub as connects directly with wifi. For this price it should come with 2 sensors, one for out and one for indoors. If monitoring outdoors, remember if you place it on a surface, the temp will read the temp of the surface which absorbes heat if wood or other materials so you won't get accurate results except taking the temperature of the wood. When isolated from contact in the shade it gives accurate readings. I put the velcro on the bottom and attached the other end to the tip of a wooden rail and the temp fell 4 degrees as now measuring air temp rather then the wood temp which is hotter than the air due to heat absorbtion.

Great protection for my Kitty in my RV.
I love this product. Very reliable and comforting.I bought this for my RV. I travel with my cat. I leave her for up to 10 hours a day. Many of the places we stay are HOT (90-105) during the day. I worry about her because campground electric can be unpredictable. I installed this, set it up with my personal WIFI, and it was ready to go.If I know I am not coming back for a while, it is a tremendous comfort to be able to look at the app on my iPhone and know she is safe and cool in the camper.
