Ticent Dog Training Collar for 2 Dogs 1800ft Remote Waterproof Rechargeable Electric Shock Collar with Beep/Vibration/Shock Modes for Small Medium Large Dogs [2018 New Version]

We tried two other collars here on AmaBezon that were absolute crap. These actually work, and held up for 9 months of heavy use on our three dogs. They looked beat up af, the puppy had even bit them while play fighting, and they got wet frequently, but they still worked. The remote control holds a charge for a week easily. We recharged the collars every day and had no battery life problems.The blinking blue light is very handy at night to locate your dogs in the dark, or locate a collar that fell off a dog.Alas, if you lose the remote, there is no call feature on it (would be nice, but would require a backup remote). So it is out there, somewhere on our acreage, lost, leaving the collars worthless now. Our fault.There are some caveats.1) Claimed 1800 foot range is BS. They are good to about 300 feet with no obstructions. Trees, etc cut that down more.2) You have to actually use your brain (gasp) to get it to work on hairy dogs. Put on the longer metal extensions, and work the collar into the fur well when you put the collar on. Turn up the shock for hairy dogs too.3) Occasionally, after several months, one would just stop shocking. Reboot fixed that.We plan to buy another pair. That says a lot.

My old training collars died on me, so i sought a replacement. The combination of high reviews and reasonable price drew me to this product. A couple things i do like: versatility of the single remote, as well as battery life. What i don't like: The collars and the remote have a different charging receptacle, so you can only charge one collar and the remote at a time. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you think about how simple it is, if they made this receptacle identical on the collars and the remote, you could charge two collars at the same time, or one collar and the remote. It makes no sense for these receptacles to be different sizes. I'm just going to say receptacles now one last time for good measure. Also, the range seems to be very poor, and the signal seems to be quite weak. I was excited about the advertised range being relatively far, but i was let down. I didn't test these in a scientific environment, or bench test, or anything like that...i'm just telling you when my dogs are about 50-100m away they don't respond whatsoever anymore with these new collars, so take that however you'd like. My dogs run away all the time now because they've learned these collars do not work. They never ran away while wearing my former collars because they were reliable and consistent. I would like to try a second pair of collars, because i do believe in the former reviews and i do believe in this company, but at this point it's been too long (over 30 days) to return this product for a new pair, or to get my money back, so I'll just have to eat the loss...but I won't purchase these again.Update (11 October 2018) -- Customer service reached out to me upon reading this review and offered to refund my money, which I greatly appreciate. I countered by requesting new collars that are validated instead, reaffirming my belief in this product and the reviews left before me by others. I will likely follow-up later with the outcome...but I'm confident we'll swiftly reach a reasonable and mutually beneficial solution.

Collars work well. I tested the shock on myself before the dogs to make sure it wasn't too strong. The vibration had to be turned up significantly higher than the shock for either dog to notice. Once I found what settings work best for each dog, the both respond really well.The only thing is that I wish the remote had a LOCK button because I have accidentally hit buttons when it's clipped to my belt.The battery lasts a LONG time! I have both dogs wear their collars during the day so they get used to them, but I only correct on average 2-3 times a week between both dogs, so I would assume more corrections would wear the battery down faster. I also turn the collars off at night. I've owned these collars for several weeks now and only needed to charge them once a couple days ago.I like that I can use different corrections for different behaviors. I use tone for behaviors I find annoying, after I've verbally reminded them once, a vibration for a behavior I really don't want them doing and don't want to have to verbally remind each time, and the shock I save for behaviors which are unsafe to the dog (like leaving the yard or eating trash).Because my dogs already understand verbal commands very well, I don't use the collars often, but I like having that security for the rare occasions I do need it.

Had it for weeks now, so I can finally say that I’m totally happy with this 2 dog training collar.Has everything I wanted in a collar, waterproofing, led light for night walks and a decent range and handy small remote.1800 feet range of course is just a marketing gimmick but it does work at under 800 feet just fine, which is all i needed anywaysUpdate 9/26/2018: Just noticed that it was supposed to come with a charging cable which I never got and now it died and can’t recharge it. Thought it was regular micro-USB connector but nope, just noticed when looking at product pics.

Pros: everything is functional and en ease to set up.Cons: haven’t found any yet.Hands down, would purchase again if/when needed!BTW my fur kiddos love getting the collars on, going for a walk indeed, wagging tails the whole time.I use the beeper, no need for anything else, as they are very responsive and the beep is quick and gentle. Love this combo!

After a month and a half the collars no longer worked. The first month and a half they worked but lost charge very quickly. Around the same time both collars stopped working entirely. Wouldn’t pair with the remote or charge.

I took my dogs out with the collars as soon as I got them. They worked wonderfully especially in the water as they went swimming with the collars on. I have had numerous sets of e collars and this is no doubt the best one at such a wonderful price. Thank you very much.

Product was good while it lasted, which was only about 6 months
