Vivid Linen Long Sleeve Top

I have bought three items from this seller, and I am so far very impressed. The linen seems to be good quality (smooth, medium-light-weight but not see-through) and irons up well, the colors are true to those shown (though the names of the colors can be a bit misleading; the tunic I got was called "rose," but it is more of a light plum color, as in the picture), and the designs are nicely detailed: The tunic has pockets with a little pleat along the outer edge so they hang away from the body slightly. Another top has perfectly set-in besom pockets. Hems are self-faced. Most impressive to me is that ALL interior seams are welted. I buy a lot of Eileen Fisher, at about two or three times the price of Vivid Linen pieces, and though the fabrics are finer quality and more unusual, the finishing is not as nice as Vivid Linen's. The only thing the jury is still out on for me is how they will launder. The description includes washing instructions that say to machine wash cold in a mesh bag. I am hoping that if I do this and give them a few rotations in the dryer on low to shake the wrinkles out and then hang to dry, I can just touch them up with the iron and won't have to completely starch and iron every area to make them look good again.

Saw this top for years and wanted to buy it. This year I did but was disappointed to find that it doesn't fit well of a 5'3' person, was more like a dress than a top. The material and construction was well done.

This tunic can be worn day or evening. The fabric is quality, the tailoring is fine and it looks beautiful on. Free to move in and fun to dress up or down with the right choice of jewelry.

Beautiful but a bit tight in the chest

I order the white one, and it was so beautiful that I was order a few more in different colors. The fabric is very good to hot and humid weather, and its not sheer. The length and design are just great.

This would would beautiful if you are at least six ft tall and slim. I had to return it because it makes me look bigger than I am. Consider the look on the manikin a bit too much material on the hip area.

A little tight in the arms and bust area. 5 stars because the outfit looked great, cool, soft and comfortable.

I liked the tunic upon receipt, but was disappointed in the fit. I expected a LARGE to be more generous. Buyers beware, you may want to order a size up. Otherwise, it was as I expected, particularly for the (inexpensive) price.
