Tattle Tea Black Tea Blend, English Breakfast, 1 Pound

I bought this as a replacement to Yorkshire Gold which seems to have gone down hill considerably. I bought it because it is described as "strong" and "heavy" but both terms are relative and compared to a regular cup of British tea I would say this is mild at best. I tried steeping fat both 4 and 5 minutes, and also at both boiling (212F) and the recommended (195F). Neither resulted in a decent cup of tea with the lower temperature being very poor indeed. However, if you are after a mild couple of tea, and drink without milk or sugar, this maybe for you - as in terms of other quality aspects it was fine.

As the saying goes, I suppose. It's extremely affordable, and gets me caffeinated (both pluses). The taste is earthy but flat - there's no hint of anything else happening in the flavor dept. In fairness, considering one can easily pay over $100 for a pound of high-quality tea, I don't have much right to complain.

The brand is new to me. I ordered it and was very pleased that I did. The blend of Chinese keemun and other black teas were perfect in length. After brewing a pot I can report the taste is excellent.I'm a member of Prime so delivery was fast. I'm reordering after finishing this review.

Excellent tea. Good body, good blend. Perfect for breakfast and mid afternoon . I will buy it again.

nice tea... real full leaf, smooth as silk, makes a great cup of tea. stands up to milk and sugar.

Delicious flavor and the strong caffeine keeps me awake for my midnight shifts. I use it in the loose leaf steeping bags.

Great tea and good amount for the price. I love drinking it hot with some raw honey when I'm feeling under the weather. And it also is amazing for just making a great big pitcher of sweet tea.
