So this is book 3 & 4 in the series. Book 3 is Lead, Jimmy Ferris, brother to David and also the lead singer of Stage Dive is the epitome of your typical bad boy rocker, too many women, too many drugs and too much alcohol. After being given an ultimatum to either clean up or leave the band, he chooses the high road. Enter Lena, who somehow finds herself as the sober companion for rock and roll's bad boy. She is determined to keep their relationship professional, she's had enough trouble with bad boys in her past and this job is a much needed break for her.Book 4 is Deep, Lizzy is the sister-in-law of the drummer for Stage Dive, the hottest rock band around. She is a twenty-one year old psych major and is harboring a huge attraction for the sexy bassist. Although both her sister Anne and brother-in-law Mal have forbade her and Ben from seeing one another, they begin a friendly exchange of flirty texting. After one fateful hookup in Vegas at her sister’s wedding, her entire life is changed.Ben is attracted to Lizzy but out of respect for Mal and Anne, he agrees to not date her. After learning that the only night they shared has led to an unplanned bump in both of their lives, he tries doing the right thing, but no matter how he turns, he ends up messing everything up. LEAD AND DEEP are the 3rd and 4th book in the 4-book series, the STAGE DIVE SERIES. This series centers around a rock band called Stage Dive. There's David, Mal, Jimmy and Ben. Each story is in the woman's point of view.Book 3, LEAD, is Lena's story. She is hired to be Jimmy's sobriety companion and live-in assistant. Jimmy has been heavy into the drugs and alcohol scene that can happen in bands. When given an ultimatum of give up the drugs and alcohol or be dropped from the band, he chooses the band. So this story is after he's gone to rehab. But his brother, David, doesn't trust that he'll won't relapse, hence a companion is hired. At first, it's not a hard job. She just has to keep tabs on him everyday. What she didn't plan on was falling for him. When he finds out she has, he tells her that she needs to not and goes about helping her to NOT like him. What follows is kinda funny, kinda tacky story!! Especially the ending. It felt like she had to end it quick so she made him do something that was almost out of character for him. Still ended happy though!Book 4, DEEP, is Lizzy's story. She is the much younger sister to Anne from book 2. Her and her sister have basically been on their own since their mom "checked out" and Anne took over.When Lizzy first meets the band, she can't take her eyes off of Ben. He's this big, burly of a bass player. What follows is a secret tryst that ended with forever consequences. She's pregnant. Nobody thinks Ben is reliable enough to take care of one woman and a baby no less!!! What follows is a story where he shows them that he can be with just one and Lizzy is it. He wants to be with her and he wants to a father.The plot was well written with a compelling and engaging storyline. She does go into explicit detail in her sex scenes. Too much for my taste. I did a lot of page flipping! The sex scenes didn't overpower the plot line, which was nice to read. The characters were well developed while being interesting. The story is written if first person and Kylie Scott did a great job of writing it. I'm not a big fan of first person stories, but she made the story really compelling and easy to read. It is well worth the read

I LOVE everything about this series! These stories give us regular girls some hope!! I felt invested in the characters and really appreciated the women folk putting these rockers in their place! This is a good read and even better to have the books together!
