Why did you pick this product vs others?:OK, I picked these because they were cheap, and I really wanted a pair of earbuds to wear while running that would let me hear things around me and also wouldn't interfere with wearing sunglasses. I had *very* low expectations after many decades of owning cheap headphones and earbuds, and knowing that I was going to be using these as an alternative to a pair of Sony LinkBuds S which have *great* sound, a really good transparency mode, are lightweight, etc. etc. ... but with summer coming on I just find the blocked-up-ear-canal thing more and more uncomfortable and wanted to try something different. Out of the box, the sound isn't *super*, but with just a little bit of EQ-tweaking I am frankly shocked at how good these sound. Are they as rich and full as regular earbuds? Hell, no. But are they tinny and weak and flat like 99% of the other cheap earbuds you've bought in your life? Also: hell, no. The bass doesn't boom, but it's definitely there; the highs don't sparkle, but neither do they sound like a scratchy transistor radio. The soundstage is also surprisingly wide and full, and they can kick out a pretty good amount of volume without distorting. I'm *really* happy with these, not just for running, but for puttering around the house or cooking with music or a podcast playing in the background. UPDATE: After a few weeks of regular use, one of the earbuds started showing erratic charging behavior (wouldn't always charge when returned to the case, had to be wiggled around or pushed harder onto the charging contacts to get it to recharge, etc.). Tozo responded promptly to a customer service request through their website, requested some more details from me, and ended up sending a replacement. So good quality and good customer service if things happen to go wrong.
