This booklet contains lively songs that learners can identify with.The material reinforces concepts dealt with in the Grade One Lessons book- quavers, accompanying chords, etc.It is an excellent companion to the main book.

This is the piano course I was introduced to when I began studying piano. I’ve tried other methods but this is the best choice. It moves at a nice pace... right hand then left hand then both hands. Gives great instruction on rhythms and the tunes, both right and left hand, are melodious...(most left hand beginning tunes are boring, dull and difficult to sit through).

Old School, but the most complete method book out there. I use it as a level two book after my students get through the Hal Leonard Piano lessons book one.

This book has pieces of varying difficulty on a gradient for students using the Lesson Level One book. My students really like them and there is always some new little thing to learn. I like to call them challenge pieces.

Book is what we needed for our son's piano lessons. However, we were sent one with a damaged cover. It was appropriately packaged in a bubble mailer, so I expect the tear happened when placing it in the mailer. Small issue in the grand scheme of things, but I would expect a damaged cover for a used book, not a brand new one. Other than that small issue, this looks like a good book for piano students who are ready to graduate from the one hand/alternate hands technique to 2 hands.

Good songs to "play with" and a must have for any student, young or old. the arrangements are very good
