Very good, Very sharp
This is an excellent beginner's knife, the handle is comfortable, the blade is very sharp. It is strong and well made. Overall the knife is easy to use, we are using it for whittling and really enjoying it.

Professional grade quality, great knife.
Flexicut are well known for making quality products (they're recommended in most carving books I've read). I'm really happy with the quality of this knife. The blade is nice and thick at the top and razor sharp along the edge; it cuts perfectly and keeps a good edge for a long time.Make sure you learn how to cut properly if you're new to it (by just slicing away you'll risk cutting yourself and blunt the blade quickly--each cut must be totally controlled, using your other thumb, rather than your wrist, for power when cutting away from your body). There are some good videos on YouTube showing you how. One is about 18 mins, takes you through all the basic cuts you can make and shows you how to carve a simple letter opener.Five out of five, will definitely be buying more of their range.

Great blade but not as convenient as a pocket knife.
The Flexcut knife is pretty good but I wouldn't say I prefer it to my old bog standard swiss army knife. It is comfortable in the hand and is good for detail or long stripping cuts. No case so I have kept it in the plastic pack it comes with, not quite the same as being able to carry it around in your pocket.

Great product
This is the first Flexcut knife I have used and am very impressed by it, very pleasant to use for long periods due to the shape of the handle, first class.

No Problems
A good whittling knife for basic cuts, with a comfortable handle. Comes with the blade already very sharp which is a bonus.

Blunt, possiblly fake?
FlexCut usually come razor sharp from factory. This took a lot of work to make it even useable
