Excellent condition
Used books like new is what was meant. Excellent condition. We bought entire set individually from different buyers used so far no one has disappointed us and my grandsons beginning them for his summer reading in May.

Different but Good
First let me say that my son (age 7) and I have been nearly obsessed with the Starcatcher series since his first grade teacher last year introduced his class to the first book. We read that together, then each book in turn - we have read a chapter or more most nights for months! We capped off our experience in June by going to New York to see Peter and the Starcatcher - which was also a great experience. So, this review is written by someone who is truly a fan of the series. This book IS different from the other books in the series. The main difference, of course, is the setting - modern day United States and Great Britain as opposed to Victorian London and a sea filled with sailing ships. The characters you know and love are not present at first, instead we are introduced to a couple teen agers who are the main characters. The story is linear - there is not as much "switching of scenes" as there is in other books in the series. The story is interesting and does progress along lines which, though predictable, are entertaining enough. Of course, the whole series requires a huge suspension of disbelief - but it is a bit more jarring, however, to suspend disbelief in the modern world setting of this book compared to earlier books in the series. The ending of the book does make it quite clear that when written they expected it to kick off perhaps even a new series - and I hope that is the case!Overall, a good read well worth the time especially for fans of the series.

Great sequel
The Bridge to Never Land is by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. It is book five of the Peter Pan and the Starcatchers’ series. Unlike the others, it takes place in America as well as London and Neverland. It lacks an edge that the others had; but it is still a fantastic book. I highly recommend it and the series.Aidan and Sarah Cooper were arguing and Aiden hid under the desk in his Dad’s office. Coming to look for him, Sarah caused him to hit his head and open a secret compartment. In the compartment is a vague note. They set out to figure out the clue. They finally figured it out and it lead them to London. Luckily their family was vacationing in London this year. They had both read the books about Peter Pan and the starcatchers. Sarah believed the clues had something to do with the Peter Pan books they had read. She is determined to find out where the clue leads them. After quite an adventure in London, they find a gold box with stardust in it. They also discover that Ombra was still alive and searching for stardust. Can the kids find out where to put the stardust now that they have it? What do the ravens have to do with it? Will Ombra be alive at the end of the story?

Peter & the Star catchers book 5
Such a fanciful story one that never gets old. I have read many Dave Barry books & loved them all. This one will be added to my library to read over & over, straight on til morning.

Love it!! Why is everyone so critical??
I'm 14, and am a HUGE fan of both the Kingdom Keepers and the Starcatchers series. I enjoyed the Peter and the Starcathers series alot, and when I saw this book, I just HAD to read it. It was a fantastic book! I wasn't disappointed. So, now I'm wondering why everyone is being so critical on the way the book is WRITTEN.It's a BOOK for crying out loud! Why should the writing style matter? All that should matter is if you enjoyed the book, not the way it was written. The author wrote it the way he thought it should be- why are you judging that? It is written and crafted in a way that pulls you in, makes you wonder what will happen next, and makes you want more. I'm not trying to be rude, but, people, it's a book, get over it please.I REALLY enjoyed this book and I seriously hope that there will be a sequel. I sort of became jealous of Sarah because I'm kind of a Peter Pan fanatic. Dude, I think I need some Starstuff- bring on the adventure! Haha! I would- and will- recommend this book to alot of my friends.I gave this book five stars not on its written ways, but the way that it makes you feel like your there and pulls you away from reality. To me, this book was the best and I CAN'T wait for a sequel (if there is one).Read it. Love it. Rate it 5 stars. Want more.

Great Way To Continue The Story
I thought this book was a clever way to bring the Starcatcher books into the real world. Sara and Aidan are modern day teenagers who discover that the books they thought were fiction are actually recordings of past events. This book is a lot alike and a lot different than the previous four. It shares many of the same elements as the other books (starstuff, Ombra, flying) but also reads differently then the last four with the point of view staying mostly with Sara and Aidan. This book starts out as a mystery, turns into a ghost story, then a chase scene, then a mystery again, an adventure story, and ends with a little bit of everything mixed together. I loved it. Although the chase scene does get a little long, the ending is worth it.There were several parts that had me laughing for several minutes (the flying van for example) and many parts that got my heart pumping.Overall this book is an awsome extension of the Starcatcher series with some new twists and turns, and I hope another one will soon follow after.
