I've always wondered how to display an iPhone on a TV and so I picked up this Zhpamax Lightning to HDMI cable to try it out. From a price perspective it is on the lower end of options, but not by a lot. It appears well built and the connectors worked fine with no fuss.I actually ordered two different lightning to HDMI adapters, and the first one was pretty much a disaster so I really didn't have high expectations for this one. But to my surprise it worked perfectly. I believe I had to still accept prompts on the iPhone to "Trust this computer", but then it just worked.It mirrored what was happening on the iPhone to the TV, and when I started the YouTube app, it displayed the video full screen on the TV and left a black box in the iPhone app. So for unprotected content on YouTube it appears it works fine.I tried it out on Netflix just to confirm it does not work, and sure enough while plugged into the TV the Netflix app reported it could not play back the video. When I tried unplugging the cable, then Netflix would again work on the iPhone. It really didn't like it when I started a video on Netflix on the iPhone and then plugged in the cable - at that point the cable stopped working and I had to unplug it and restart the Netflix app to get it working again.So for basic screen mirroring of an iPhone (in this case an SE 2020) I can recommend purchasing this cable.

It doesn’t show streaming channels like Viki, so it cannot override blocks like that. However, YouTube shows up pretty good and the sound comes thru the TV as well so it can complete most of what it boasts

I needed a way to connect my phone to a large television with HDMI input and this cable has worked flawlessly for this application. The cable is simple to use, provides crystal clear images and sound on my television and was priced reasonably compared to competitor products. I would definitely purchase this same exact cable in the future if I need anymore for any other projects.

I recently received this "Lightning to HDMI Cable • HDMI Cable for iPhone to TV • Compatible with iPhone14, 13, 12, 11 to TV Output • with 1080P HD Display • Sync Video and Sound • Just Plug and Play" which was a dual-purpose order. No complaints so far!The main reason I ordered this adapter was so I could have access to video streaming while traveling. So far this hasn't had any major hiccups - or at least none that I couldn't easily attribute to my own lack of experience with this type of technology. I don't often bother screen mirroring, but I'm solo when making longer trips most of the time, so I don't really care if what I'm seeing is on my phone's screen, and I don't usually take the time to broadcast to the TV in my hotel. With others, however, especially the littler ones, it's much nicer to have the ability to project the display to a shared screen instead, and this adapter makes that process much easier.Happy to recommend.

doesnt work as expected with ipad and projector

This thing was plug and play!no issues and it works exactly as you would expect including passing along sound without any hiccups.Does NOT require to be powered separately like some other cables/adaptors. So this worked out quite well for my use case.Update:Since ios18 update this thing no longer works at all. Useless

It’s a good adapter and it shows good quality picture, but this also depends on how good your screen/projector definition is too. Decent length but you can’t walk across the room with it hooked up. As described in its pictures and product description, it is NOT COMPATIBLE with the streaming services like Netflix, Disney plus, Max, etc. the only one you can “stream” is YouTube. And of course the other apps it mentions. Don’t get this if you want to use it for streaming apps because it will not work I guarantee you.
