I was really surprised at how heavy this lock is. It definitely has some serious weight to it, and seems well made. The alarm is ear-splittingly loud and has no trouble drawing attention. The alarm can be a little overly sensitive, which can lead to annoyed neighbors if something trips it off while you're away. Also, if it does go off accidentally, there's no remote, so you have to go and insert the key if its somewhere you wouldn't want a screaming alarm to be left going off. The brightly colored cable is a helpful reminder for people like me that would otherwise have a legitimate risk of forgetting about it and attempting to ride off with the brake on....you wouldn't make it more than a few feet, but not without doing some potentially serious damage.

Worked well for four months. Lock got stuck on my disc and refuses to unlock. I'm still waiting for a locksmith or technician to get it out. Saw no signs that this lock was going bad.

The lock is good but the case sucked and broke off the bike on highway and lost it.
