The internal threads were cut too deep, resulting in a loose fit and necessitating many wraps of teflon tape to avoid leaks. The external threads were not cut deep enough making it very difficult to engage enough threads to stop leaks.

ordered these and found out didnt need but ill keep them they are nice

I bought these in several different orders, and some of the orders got split between multiple shippers. The quality of the received items ranged from excellent to unsatisfactory -- some of the poor instances had sharp flashing-like extrusions on the male end of the fitting, and had badly cut inside threads that gouged into the mating fitting. They looked like they had been sand-cast and then not post-finished.The good ones looked beautiful -- polished and gleaming.You take your chances.

Ich habe zwei von diesen Teilen gekauft. (2“ x 1/2“)Das eine Teil wurde innen geschweißt. Ich nehme an, es wurde ein Lunker beseitigt.Kann man machen, das aber dann als Neuware zu verkaufen halte ich für sehr frech.Das Teil habe ich nicht zurückgeschickt. Der Fehler ist im verbauteten Zustand nicht zu sehen.Ein Teil hier wiegt 207 Gramm. Im Jahre 2016 habe ich von einem anderen Anbieter auch so ein Teil erworben, das wiegt 302Gramm.Bei so einem Bauteil 30% Material einsparen! Das allein sagt schon eine ganze Menge über die Qualität solcher Bauteile aus. Qualität hat eben auch Gewicht.
