Fiddes Mellow Wax Furniture Polish 400ml - Brown Mahogany (Georgian Mahogany) by Fiddes & Sons

Fiddes & Sons Mellow Wax is fantastic quality wax. I had the Rich Mahogony before but found it to be too red for a new piece of furniture that lay more on the dark brown side, so I picked up Georgian Mahogony instead. I'm no pro with this sort of stuff, but find this wax super easy to use, pick yourself up a pack of lint free cloths and definitely some rubber or latex gloves (this will stain your skin quickly!) and away you go. This gives a lovely polish, covers up small blemishes and scratches and leaves the wood with a nice, deep feel to the grain. It's also excellent value, a tin this size will go miles and if you only need it for one or two pieces of furniture, it will probably last you a lifetime.

Excellent product really bought up the shine in my cutlery cabinet covera minor scratches but a bit of patina in a 60 year old veneer is acceptable as adds to character. Does smell and definitely need gloves to use.

Relaxing a mahogany table. It covered the blemishes and was easy to apply and buff to give great finish. Smell is a little strong, but disappeared upon polishing.

Brilliant wax, I absolutely love using it! I had to sand down and re wax my blanket boxes and other furniture and it turned out so well! Does not need millions of coats despite my furniture I gotta awfully dry. And it leaves nice smooth texture behind and not oily or sticky at all!
