This is a small, simple, sliding door lock for someone to lock themselves inside a room once entered (that is what I've used it for anyway). I'm sure there are many other places this can be utilised but I've just attached it to the inside of a small WC to stop people entering if they try the handle.Lets face it, it's not going to stop someone kicking the door in but it is just a privacy measure in your own home. I'm sure this could be used to secure side gates or shed doors but you may want to use more than one. I'm happy based on my expectations of the product.
