Great book for student nurses
I bought this book as I am a student nurse about to go out and work in the community. It is an excellent book with a clear explanation of the different types of wounds and their care. It is clearly laid out with chapters on the skin, types of wounds, wound assessment, wound cleansing and so much more - it pretty much covers all the questions I would ask about caring for a wound.

wound care
I did not know what to expect when i received this book. I was pleasently surprised, what a well written informative book. It has easy to follow chapters and upto date information. I have worked on the commuity for 3 years and deal alot with wounds and leg ulcers. This is an ideal book to give anyone who is a beginner in wound care, it actually makes you evaluate the care you are giving and reinforces that not all wounds are the same. I will certainly put this in my office for the students that come through. Summary Well wriiten, easy to follow. informative an must for any nurse. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!

Not up to Date
I was very disappointed in this book. It was probably relevant when written but sadly is now out of date. It gives a decent basic cover of wound types and dressings. However no mention of new dressings such as manuka honey or silver. No mention of biofilm either. In addition I found the quality of the actual cover of the book to be very flimsy.
