They work, and they add character, with the footballs! I use them to bring down the 'room temp' on red wine. The really nice presentation box had come apart, but that didn't matter as these are for my own use.

It kept the wine slightly cooler but nowhere as cool as ice cubes. Maybe I was expecting too much.

The football ice cube set it so cute and comes in a box with tongs and one freezer punch. they are good for out in Whiskey instead of adding ice, it will be a good gift for people like drinking wine.

I absolutely love these! My drink of choice is Vodka Soda but I hate when it gets diluted from the ice. Well no more watered down drinks for me. These whiskey stones are very well made and they stay cold long after my drink is gone! Also I love the included velvet draw string back!
