Get this one over the other options
Works perfectly!! I ended up buying this upgraded model because the other model I got, my camera wasn’t reading. This one is way better! I recommend getting this version over the cheaper version.

Easy to use
This is a 5 star and is much better than the flashpoint x2 which is cheaply made

Easy to use and very versatile trigger.
I was using the older XT2 for years and decided to upgrade to this one. Very happy I did, its much faster to setup and has features that are not found in the XT2 and for the price, its worth the upgrade.

Works Great for Real Estate Photography
I use this in manual mode as my "portable" trigger for my Godox and flash point strobes in conjunction with another R2 trigger attached to the top of the camera. The strobes themselves are set to fire off with the last "power" signal that they receive. So I set the flash power with this little guy and then, when the camera fires, it sends a plan "fire" signal form the trigger mounted to the camera and the strobes deploy with the last setting they receive from this Xpro. This means I can control flash power wireless with this Xpro in my pocket. Which I like. I often composite layered images and with the tripod often on carpeted floors I like to minimize the touching of the camera itself as much as possible once the shot is set up. I don't want to shoot an ambient layer and then start fidgeting with the flash trigger on top of the camera as I dial in flash power for multiple strobes. This current setup, in conjunction with a wireless camera shutter release, means I can minimize hands-on interaction with the camera as much as possible.

Works great
Working just as intended. Show seems to be built a little better than the previous version, that I broke after a few years of use

Compact, versatile
I had 1st purchased the Flashpoint R2 Pro Mark II version that had more buttons & a twist lock hot shoe thinking it would be better. This unit is more compact in all 3 dimensions and the screw lock is more my preference. The screen is large; same size as the Flashpoint R2 Pro Mark II. You can view up to 5 groups at once. The screen angle is better than the other versions. The buttons give you intuitive control without multiple functions on the same button. You do loose the on-camera hot shoe capability which was not important to me. I still have the Flashpoint R2 Mark II which has the hot shoe capability if I need that.

A Possible Problem
I received the Godox X1 Pro s on June 7, 2018 for my Sony a7lll.My flashes are Yongnuo 565 EX ll for Canon and have receivers that are Godox 1 for Canon. I was a Canon shooter for many years. So far all seem to function well. I have had a few issues with the flashes not firing. At this point I am not sure if it is OE (operator Error), the transmitter, receivers or not placing the transmitter into the hot shoe tight enough. I will update this review if I able to discover a remedy. The reason for the 4 star review that concerns me. I purchased brand new good quality rechargeable AA batteries. Charged them completely, put them in the transmitter and the battery indicator indicated half charge. It did not take long using the unit for the indicator to show ¼. I replaced the rechargeable batteries with new Duracell batteries I have an indication of a full charge.I have rad that the rechargeable batteries have to charged as many times to reflect a full charge. I will update review if that is so.I have 4 flashes and with receivers and transmitter I use 26 batteries. I use my camera for real estate photography and rechargeable batteries are a real necessity for me.

Learning Lighting? Start here.
This thing is incredible and very easy to use and very reliable. I've been over 100ft from strobes using this and had not missed shots. TTL, HSS, grouping lights, zooming, manual power control, everything the major brands do but for a price that I can't comprehend. This is great for beginners since it is affordable, reliable and you can upgrade the lights as you learn or grow your business. It is also pro grade. I use profoto at work and I have these at home and I don't notice huge difference in workflow. Profoto of course is a bit more rugged and when in a pinch can be rented to augment an existing kit easily, but this system has really impressed me.
