You're paying the extra two dollars for style. And it's worth it.
I really like this cable. The Amazon Basics cable isn't more than two dollars cheaper than this, and it's so worth it. I got this cable to be able to use a Rode NT1, which is, for the most part, black, aside from a white label that says "Rode" on it. Along with that theme, the audio interface I'm using is the Steinburg UR12, which is also white and black. Everything just fits together so well, you're paying the extra two dollars for the style, and the braided cable, which is very tight. I never got the idea that it would fray. I would love to be able to type more, but t's a cable, how much can you say?
