This cap fits well and snug where it does not come off. Mine stayed warm for about 20 minutes with 40 seconds in the microwave. If I would have know the results of my hair afterwards, I would have purchased sooner. I washed my hair as usual. Instead of a shower cap after conditioning, I used this cap. OMG! My hair was so soft afterwards and easy to comb through. This is just what my hair needed. I can't wait to see the long term results. Better yet, I received an email from a live person after I received the cap. A real live person! That is rare and made an even better difference when deciding on my next purchase.

Value for the money....easy to do a condition every other week

Pros: The Luxury hair cap for deep conditioning works very well for both deep conditioning and coloring of hair. It is snug and does not leak (just remove as much water as possible from your hair). Make sure to use the accompanying plastic caps or your own each time you use the steaming cap....this helps to prevent leaking and keep your cap clean. The cap stays warm for 20-25 mins. This is great because I don’t have suffer under a dryer.Con: The cap is a bit heavy....my only issue and hence the 4 ⭐️. However, I would recommend purchasing especially if you’re not a fan of the hair dryer.

Just okay. I Microwaved for 60 seconds because the recommended 30 seconds was not warm enough. I set a timer for 20 minutes, it stayed hot for about 10 minutes before starting to cool off. So I had to reheat it again. 3 stars because it does not stay warm longer than 10 minutes and because it is a very tight fit. If you have a larger than average head or alot of hair, would not recommend. I have thin short hair and its very tight.

This cap does what it says it does. This is the only one of these I've ever had so I don't have anything to compare it to. It stays warm as it's supposed to. It's a bit heavy and slides down over my eyes if I try to really do anything other than just sit down with it on. I try to make sure I'm going to do something sitting down with my head up while it's on (like watching TV). I do have an average to small head though. It appears to be made well too.

This was a great way to do a deep conditioning treatment anywhere. The cap is really comfortable and has an elastic band to conform to heads of all sizes.You can heat this in a microwave and use it for curling your hair.Being able to do deep conditioning treatment anywhere is great, and it can save a trip to the salon. You can also use it for for leave in moisturizer.I was really happy with how comfortable it was. Also it's well made and very durable. I have used it several times and it's worked very well. I have really thick hear, and treating it can be very difficult. I also don't like the cost associated with paying a hairdresser to do things like deep treatments.I usually have my hair cut at least four times a year and my hair takes a lot of time to properly care for. Cutting out additional trips to the salon is a huge money saver.

I’m not happy at all with this heat cap. It was MUCH too large, and it didn’t hold heat. I purchased this cap because my previous purchases of a different band was no longer available. And my decision was based on customer reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend this cap.

So I followed the directions and I never had any issues with the gel coming out. I like it's purpose for deep conditioning however, after several uses I noticed that a certain section of the cap near the black band did not have any gel, thus not keeping that one part of my hair as heated as the rest. This is my main complaint. I reached out to their contact email about it. Received no answer. So customer service appears to be not even at service. I read in another review that someone also noticed the lack of gel in certain area of the cap. I repurchased the cap thinking that maybe I got a faulty product. Nope. The next cap also had the same problem. I honestly wish I didn't buy this. It's not even that comfortable especially if your one that wears glasses. The black band definitely helps to keep the warmth in but it's not the most comfortable to wear. I was going to give a 3 star but customer service is really important to me. If you want something to help with deep conditioning your hair, it works about 75% for your hair but I bet there's better options than this one.
