Nice product at a reasonable price.
Having read reviews of similar, but cheaper, products I decided to spend a few extra quid and get the Neewer dew strap as I've always been pleased with other Neewer products.Worked as expected when plugged into a power bank and a difference could be felt between each of the 3 heat settings. Fitted fine on the lens I plan to use as well as a 4" telescope I have. It does not wrap all the way round the telescope, but the elastic velcro strap bridges the last part. With heat coming from underneath it should not matter that an inch or so is missing at the top. However, when measuring the "max" temp reached by the strap it does not seem to tally with the documentation. That claims that you can get 65 degrees Celsius from the strap. However, even after letting the lens and body heat soak for some time in a room at around 19 degrees the max temp I recorded was just over 50 degrees C. Somewhat short of the 65 claimed. Is this going to matter? Well I guess I'll discover when I'm freezing my fingers off in the middle of Norwegian nowhere!

Fits well so hopeitdoes the job
When taking photos in cold climates it is always an issue when coming out from the warm into the cold as the lens fogs up and the moment has passed by the time you manage to sort it out. This fits over the lens using velcro and then you have to attach it to a power bank to get it to warm up.We are heading to the Stares and Canada and spending time in some very cold places so I am really hoping this sorts the lens fogging issue. The only downside I can see is the fact you have to have the power bank fixed to your camera so mobility may be impaired

Great dew heater / battery saver
A fantastic addition to my photography lenses and for the telescope as well. Enough heat to keep the lense or the mirror clear. It also works well keeping the scope battery from draining quickly due to the cold.

Excellent multi-purpose lens heater that should fit most lenses
My wife and I are off to Norway in January to (hopefully) experience the Northern lights, and if possible take some photos to keep as mementos. The main problem that I've seen highlighted by people making that tripm is fogging on their lenses - the ambient temperature in Norway in January is likely to be more than a bit cold!To help remedy that, this lens heater from Neewer will keep the lens itself at a decent temperature and and thus minimise condensation. The heater fits on my (short) lens quite nicely, but I should imagine it will struggle with the shorter focal length lenses such as the pancake types you can find at 10-15mm. My 16mm is just about okay with it, but I suspect anything flatter just won't provide enough area for the heater to be fitted around.Actually fitting the heater is very simple: get a rechargeable power pack, wrap the heater around the lens and secure it with the velcro strip, and plug the heater into the power pack. It provides a good level of heat even at its lowest setting, and the period of time that it can be run for is determined only by how big a power pack you choose to plug it into. This is a good, useful, item that I hope will help cope with the Norwegian winter - it looks like it will!

Super handy lens heater
This unit is versatile and practical, especially for astrophotography. The Neewer USB Lens Heater warms up your camera lens or telescope quickly and evenly. This is super helpful for dealing with issues like dew, fog, or condensation during your photography sessions. It is recommended to use on lenses or telescopes with a circumference of up to 12"/300mm and a diameter of 96mm.What's cool is that it has three adjustable temperature levels. You can adjust the heat based on the weather or whatever you're shooting, and this helps prevent problems like overvoltage. It's got some built-in features to make sure your equipment stays safe, like protecting against overvoltage. Plus, you can easily plug it in with a USB, which is convenient. In terms of build, it's well-made and should last a while. The size is decent, covering different lenses and telescopes. Moreover, it is a practical tool for keeping your camera gear in top shape, especially when you're shooting in tricky conditions. It is very easy to use and has a compact design, perfect for easy storing.Overall, It's straightforward, reliable, and a good investment for photographers who want to avoid fogging lenses in their shots.

Excelellent addition to my camera kit
If only I had one of these on several previous occasions where my lens misted up, either being outside in cold damp conditions, or coming from outside to inside and the lens immediately mists up, so quite a lot of photo opportunities missed! It easily fits my STD lens and my telephoto, although it will impede on the range on the telephoto (circa 300 - 135) unless you loosen it, then refasten it at the lower end (say 100), but not a deal breaker unless you have to make large changes to focal lengths very quickly often .The cable is easily long enough to allow it to plug into my powerbank in my pocket, so top marks all round as it is well thought out.It heats quickly when needed and has three levels of power. 5 stars from me!
