Do the job well, these are replacements for one's we had for years
Compact and sturdy. Easy to use at home or when on holiday

Ok
I’ve had these dispensers for years and they have lasted very well. However, they are now made of a flimsy construction so I don’t expect them to last that long.

Still practical, but only if you fill your own pill dispenser, not if fill on behalf of someone else
Please note that the picture is of an earlier version of this.I bought this as the twice/day was ideal for me, allowing me to dispense a week's meds and them fit easily in the fridge door (which one of my tablets requires). Similarly, was discrete if taking away on holiday as opaque cover/about glass cases size. It was sturdy/lasted well until one of hinges broke. Happy with it I went to buy what I thought was a direct replacement. The current version has a transparent lid without a pill/allergy list to fit in there. Similar sliding covers for each compartment but...In picture of older version, moulding of bottom half was solid and lid clipped shut. In current version lid just closes; cover for the 14 pill departments opens/is the part that clips. However...there are v narrow spaces at each end which if you drop a pill in, can only get out with tweezers or tipping whole things upside down & starting again (no narrow end on old version & if something dropped in wrong compartment could slide plastic covers over all but that day). The clip plastic cover/hinge means that you can only dispense tablets out of foil into morning compartment from edge of foil - if your meds are loose or in 3 rows you'll have to dispense middle row into your hand and then into dosset box.As a result, no longer suitable for dispensing meds for someone else - only for yourself. Certainly no paid carer could reliably fill this without risk of touching the medication. It still works for me (although don't like the fact lid not secure or opaque) but I think is now much more limited in use than previous design.

very good
very good pill organiser. I found however the top flap seems a bit pointless, but for the elderly folk among us, they are able to fill in the details of their medicines (but there is only about 6 lines). Durable, but if you have tablets or capsules on the larger side of things, such as:-Calcichew - you would struggle to fit other tablets with them-Adcal or Calceos - they are too big to fit even on their own-Gabapentin or pregabalin capsules the larger strengths may not fit at all. such as gabapentin 600 or 800mg tabs.-if you take more then two carbocisteine (mucodyne) per slot you would also run out of room-Metformin would be ok as long as no more than two at a time but not if you take the long oval shaped ones (Glucophage) as especially the 1000mg (1g) ones are too big-paracetamol/co-codamols would fit fine

A little disappointing
I have used pillmate over many years very successfully, but on this occasion the lid does not fasten at all very disappointing?

Have bought a few times
Great convenient pill box, can be a little fiddly and stiff to open the first few times but that loosens up!
