Item claims to be metal throughout -- but on the most important part - the moving part that causes the sprinkler to move it is PLASTIC and has broken in less than one month of usage. I'm outside of the return window on Amazon - so what do I do??

I am very frustrated. After just three uses this product is defective. The oscillating feature is not working at all, instead, the sprinkler keeps getting stuck in one spot.

The majority of the sprinkler is very heavy duty and doesn't tip/flip once turned on, however the part that oscelates the sprinkler fan is plastic. The plastic piece sticks in place (you can hear it snapping and catching on itself), and it jams up/ only moves when manually adjusted. Not worth the money.

Nice to see a well-made, quality item for sale. Small business, nice people, and I'm very happy with the sprinkler. It took a minute or two to figure out the control, but it's exactly what I hoped for: a solid, metal sprinkler that doesn't flip or move with water pressure. I need to leave this in the sun semi-permanently, and tired of replacing the plastic import trash. I would love to see all-metal components on an upgraded unit even, but this is very solid and a great start. Feels more like my grandparents sprinkler than the big-box retailer stuff, you know. When stuff wasn't made with planned obsolescence. :)

No directions on a very difficult to turn knob this knob must be turned if setting water pattern and what is stamped into plastic knob is black on black that has nothing in regards to water pattern setting information. anywhere on this sprinkler.The Brass attachment on sprinkler needs to be extended out needs to be extended as cannot easily tighten or loosen sprayer brass attachment on to hose end there is no room to tighten and if not tight water leaks as the hose you are attaching has only threads on it .Why not design sprayers as they used to be made that last are easy to adjust and with directions instead of keep designing so called out to lunch designing that are simply unusable land fillers?

I bought this because it was supposed to be all metal but I found the essential moving parts are plastic. The dial that is used for adjusting the spray pattern is beyond difficult to use' sometimes I have to put a channel locks on it to move it. That being said, for the price maybe I shouldn't complain but really It next to impossible to adjust to fit you yard. There are no directions and the dial that says center/ right/ leftgive no indication what side is left or what side is right. I would never recommend this to anyone

I live on the island of Kauai and near the mouth of a valley and normally don't have to water my lawn. Well we have been in a bit of a dry spell so I got the new sprinkler and I can't tell you how pleased I am. It truly covers a lot of area so I don't have to be moving it so often. And I could not be more pleased with the great price! Thank you very much.

Not often do you find all metal sprinklers anymore. The plastic ones crack and don't work well. This one works great and I don't have to worry about it stopping or freezing up. It stands up to kids abuse from playing in the sprinkler or just watering the lawn. The connections are also great and hold up well and keep it from leaking and spraying all over.

Very jerky action, not smooth operating at all. Lasted 3 or 4 uses and hung up and won't oscillate at all. Just makes sound like gears popping inside the case. Want money back!

Still brand new in the box, I pulled one out last night for the first time use. No matter how I try to set it, it does NOT do what it should. Not to mention it makes such a LOUD grinding, whirling noise I had to turn it off. I could not get it to go full side to side and settled for 1/2 way, it did dump a lot of water in a short time. I should have tried to use it the second I got it. The directions on the box really stink.

This is a heavy duty sprinkler - Material is not 100% metal - some is plastic. Bit tricky getting the spay to oscilate just right. The plastic drive ring will slip off the metal and mess up the setting. The kids love running through the wall of water like jump rope.

One of the worst sprinklers I have ever purchased. They state, "Water Large Areas, up to 3300 sq-ft, with full, even coverage," and the sprinkler does not cover half this area as claimed, it also has four nozzles that did not function. Do not waste your money or time purchasing this sprinkler. Spend your money on something better.

These are not very good. I got two of them, and one is working about average the other one will not sweep full side to side. It hangs up in the middle of the cycle and the gears start clicking like they are already stripped out or not meshing. The metal frame is good, but the gear mechanism is plastic and does not work very good at all. I would spend twice as much and get a gear driven "tractor" sprinkler if I had to do it over again.

This is by far the best sprinkler we have ever owned, and we have owned a lot of them! It provides great coverage for our lawn, despite the fact that our water pressure isn't very strong. And of all the kid-sprinkler/water toys we have owned, the kids have the most fun with this one!! Who knew?! The sprinkler was exactly as pictured and the customer service and communication were excellent!! Would definitely recommend this item--for your lawn OR your kids!
