I order one because I'm in a lot of pain and needed something to open my cans but I am very disappointed in this product it take at least two to 5 times to open a can 😡😡😡😡

One Touch is an easy can opener to use
I just replaced my beloved Gizmo can opener with this 'One touch'. It had been a long time since I was in the market for a can opener and was not familiar with the new smooth edge can openers and was surprised the first time I used this one. I am pleased with it. No sharp edges anymore. No cut lid falling into the product in the can. It's only fault is that is does NOT stop automatically, like my Gizmo did. I have to listen carefully as the sound changes slightly once the opener completes a circle and then press the 'Start' button again. This second press reverses the cutting direction and stops the cutting process. I read a previous review that only gave this opener a 1 star stating that it needed about 5 times around to cut the lid. My guess is this reviewer didn't know that it doesn't stop automatically and requires user intervention to stop. I have been using it for several weeks now, and it always cuts the lid on first try. The price is right too.
