The best part of these suspenders are the clips that hook to belt loops. The worst part of these suspenders are the clips that hook to belt loops. Wait! Is this a typo. No. Compared to regular suspenders that have a snap type clip these ones are way above that. The snap clips tend to come undone when you brush against something with your back and next thing you know your pants are sadly sagging at the back and you're trying to do gymnastic gyrations to re-clamp the clip. This clip hooks into the belt loop and short of tearing the loop off your pants they are not going anywhere. Now to the worst part. Your pants need to have the loops in the right place at the back. The range for the short back side of the suspender is limited and if your belts loops are too far apart it just makes one big looking mess. You would have to sew in a set of loops to be able to wear these suspenders. That is the advantage snap clips have. They are vastly more adjustable. Also these are the narrow straps. I prefer the 2 inch wide straps as opposed to these 1 1/2 inch ones. Other than the above there is nothing I find too negative. Would I buy these again? Unfortunately because of the limited hook design as much as I do like the hooks that I would not purchase again.
