LSW Heavy Duty Sink Strainer

I'm really glad I bought this. I've had it many months now. Its sturdy and doesn't get rusty, yucky. It has a little handle so I don't have to dig it out of the sink with a spoon. It fits right down in the drain and doesn't stretch out like screens. Seems like a lot of money for a little thing, but its worth it.

Highly recommend, I've used for 3 years and am ordering more for our new home. Best features include:1) easy to clean, no groves, rubber seals, or little knobs that stay gooey and gross2) does not rust or corrode3) forms tight seal to trap food particles but easily lets the water pass through4) I've tried several other types of strainers before this one, and this is the best in my opinion.A small thing in life but brings me much satisfaction!

This is a great example of a simple yet well made product that performs its function perfectly. My previous strainer was a rubber-net reversible type that would get entangled with sink detritus and begin to turn disconcerting colors with some sort of growth. Not so with the LSW strainer. The drain holes are numerous enough to let water through yet small enough not to become clogged with food stuff. To empty, just knock out the strainer into the disposal. Run it through the dishwasher and it comes out gleaming and sterile. I think of this strainer as a sink upgrade.

I have purchased--and donated--every sink strainer out there. This is the best. bar none! Cleaning a sink strainer is always a nasty job, but most of the gunk is easily removed by tapping it on the edge of the garbage container--the handle helps, too. This strainer is truly dishwasher safe, unlike the rest. I have 4 now, so I can have 2 in the dishwasher and 2 in the double sink. Highly recommend.

I bought these because it said "Heavy Duty" but they're not. I should have known because of the price. They work though and I like the little handle.

I paid for this myself. I like it. I had to replace my garbage disposal because my old one broke. I ran out and bought one from Lowes. But the darn thing came without a sink strainer. Seriously?! Anyway! I couldn't reuse the old one because the new one was about a quarter, maybe a half inch bigger so the old one kinda fell into the hole. I ordered this one and it fits perfectly. I only have two issues, which is why I took off one star. The drain holes are represented in the description as being large. While they may be larger than others, they aren't that large. If you are running water to wash your hands for example, the water tends to pool up for a bit and will drain off after you close the faucet. It's not bad, but it is noticeable. The second is the product description says it's heavy duty. No it's not. It's pretty thin stainless steel. But it looks nice. My mom complimented me on it. And it fits perfectly. It drains OK. It wasn't too expensive. Not too bad, all things considering.

So much better than my old steel sink strainer with the mesh! Our house was going through one of the mesh strainers evry other month. This is one is awesome and does not rust. The handle is a nice touch and makes it easier to take it out of the sink.

Don't waste your money buying this one. Water does not flow into the drain and it is making noise when the water flows. The material is flimsy and it is not worth the price.
