Finally, I have it. I fell in love with MTH when I first heard the second opening and closing themes of Death Note. I looked into them and fell in love with everything. This may be their best album.

Bu Ikikaesu is, flat out, an amazing album. I mean, if you are reading these reviews, you have already heard everyone else say so. The majority of Maximum The Hormone's best work is on this album. For those who haven't listened to their work or are unfamiliar with the band, I am unsatisfied classifying Maximum as J-rock. Their style is rather unique and stands out in an amazing way. Personally, I like to this of Maximum as Punk Metal. They are upbeat while still holding to a heavier style. The vocals (there are 3 vocalists: The lead singer, Daisuke; the guitarist, Maximum; and the drummer, Nao) bounce back and forth seamlessly from light-hearted to thrash and back again. This the kind of music that will make you move! It doesn't matter if you just want to head bang solo or if you are at a party; there is never a bad time to play Maximum The Hormone. I realize this sounds like amazingly high praise. I think they deserve it though. If I haven't convinced you yet, watch a few of their videos on youtube. My recommendations:What's Up, People?!Bikini. Sports. Ponchin'Koi No Megalover (this video reminds me of Pretty Fly For A White Guy...in a good way)Not on this album but worth a listening to is their song Mr. Boogie Tambourine Man. That ALWAYS puts me in a great mood. Either way, you can't go wrong with Maximum The Hormone. One of the best things to ever come out of Japan.

This has so many good songs! They infuse so many genres of music with such smoothness! SOAD fans will love their quirky style as well. I can't say enough about how good this band is and will be forever!

In a era were originality is rare, who knew one of the best metal bands ever would come from japan! Sounding like a million awesome metal bands, sometimes in the same song. Sounding alike like system of down , faith no more and mr bungle with the muscular power of bands like pantera, slipknot and mudvanye and adding pop punk and pop melodies into a chaotic mess that works and sounds awesome! The whole band sings included the drummer which is a awesome female vocalist and drummer. If your a metal fan or hard rock fan give this band a listen! Their a amazing breath of heavy metal fresh air and can't wait to hear what they do next!

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift and he hasnt stopped listening to it. I get in my car expecting a nice peaceful ride to work and the second I start the car the volume is all the way up with this playing. Great wake up call. But its ok, because it makes my boyfriend so happy and this is such a good band (I'll admit I like a few of the songs too!)

Let me start by saying that I love this band's music, and that this album really delivers. It's fast, heavy and fun. There isn't a single filler track to be found. If you like rock or metal, do yourself a favor and check out this album.As far as everything else goes, this is a Japanese CD, so you will pay for it. I ended up paying around $40.00 American for this album, but I think the quality is well worth the hefty price tag. The CD and case arrived in perfect condition sooner than I expected, and it included a typed thank you letter and an origami crane. I know the last bit isn't really relevant, but I love it when stores go the extra mile like that.5 out of 5! ^_^
