Digi-Pas 2-Axis Smart Master Precision Level DWL1500XY Bluetooth, 0.0002"/ft (0.02 mm/M), Black

Great tool that has made field service work so much easier. Have had multiple customers go out and purchase their own when they've seen it in use. Would purchase again. Only flaw is the plastic body, customer dropped a tool on the level and the shell cracked. Still works though so I'm not going to complain.

I had done enough research before I purchased this product so I knew exactly what to expect from the product. I had a few I could have chosen from but I chose the Dig-Pas DWL1500XY because of the other customer reviews and price compared to the other similar products.The packaging/case for the level is great to keep it safe when not in use. The app set up and initial instructions where easy to follow. The product itself appears to be well built, solid and easy/simple to use and read from its own display if one does not need the app. The app and bluetooth feature allows me to make adjustments away from the level itself by looking at my phone display. I would recommend this to buyers who know how to set up equipment that work with apps. You can still use the level (with limited functions) without the phone by reading from the display on the level itself.

Purchased this level in March 2020, and like it a lot! The bluetooth smartphone connection & readout greatly simplified my task of leveling new machines on my shop floor. Can now do it faster and more accurately with one person than I could before with 2 people. A little pricey, but worth it!

I purchased the 1500xy to level tool changers and shuttle systems for VTC and HBM machining centers. Overall I found the level and associated app easy to use and reasonably intuitive.The level arrived out of calibration. Took it to a precision granite square and went through the calibration process. The level reads and repeats within reason now. Checked the four pads on the bottom for flatness. Could barely see where the level touched the blued surface plate. There was only a hair line of contact on the outer edge of each pad. This isn’t good for precisely leveling anything other than maybe precision ground surfaces. I Polished the level base to get better surface to surface contact and recalibrated.The level has an LED display that only reads in degrees and only displays one axis at a time. You have to have the app to see both X and Y at the same time. The app also allows you to display degree, mm/m, or in/ft. This functionality should really be available without the app. For my applications I find the apps bubble level to be most useful. I’ve only used the level two times so far and haven’t run into any issues with the level or apps performance.

I saw similar Bluetooth version some time ago, thought it make a lot of sense, but the price was really prohibitive. Now this is just a fraction and I can resist no more!On the quality side, the product comes with a calibration certificate, solid feel and look. A quick check confirmed good repeatability as claimed. On the Apps side, running on a Samsung Note5, the setup is straight forward, and stable. I use mainly the 2D bubble screen, the display is simple and large enough to read with just a quick glance.Overall, i find the product very useful for me. Cutting much of the setup time as I can adjust while looking at the readings real time and near immediate settling time. Helps my back since no more ups and downs to check on the readings placed on the top.

We use this level in setting up industrial mills and lathes. Works quite well.

The Digi-Pas DWL1500XY is very accurate and easy to use. It makes it much easier to level equipment not having to have two people or going back and forth looking at a bubble. The app is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to set up. Our company sets equipment daily and everyone loves the Digi-Pas!

Bought the DWL1500XY Level in January 2023, worked very well, after sitting on a desk for about 2 months, it would not power up. Changed Batteries, still dead. Working with Digipas on a solution now, will see how well they support their products.
