Does the job and for a good price!
I'm a bit of an idiot and bought a monitor that doesn't have an hdmi or any port that my graphic card supports. I was still within the return time but I'm one of those people who despises going back to return things and figured I can look for an adapter because at Microcenter the cheapest one was a tiny smidge below 20$! That's a damn lot of money for such a tiny thing.I decided on this little guy and it works perfectly. There's not much to it. I plugged the HDMI end j to my graphics card and then screwed the vga cord of the monitor into the other end and I'm done!

works great with great quality
Used it to hook up projector to a 50ft hdmi cable, works great with great quality. Point to note, since this isn't a scalar, you have no way to limit or scale the resolution so for those who want to hook it up permanently to a projector, you have to reduce resolution in the hdmi device so that the VGA signal is within range of the projector. I have to reconfigure my Roku to downgrade resolution to 720p due to my projector, everytime and that can be a pain..

Didn't work for me unfortunately but I gave it to the public library so maybe they can utilize it. Make sure u read what your buying and if it fits your monitor/laptop

Lasted for 3 months.
Worked well for and I was happy with it for 3 months. Then it stopped working, as did my happiness for it.

Highly recommend to anyone looking to connect old hardware to newer ...
Product works as expected. Using it to connect my 19 inch Samsung SyncMaster CRT to my GTX 1080. There is no branding on the adapter and it looks clean and professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking to connect old hardware to newer devices.
