Simple and reliable solution
This adapter was exactly what I needed to connect my Starlink Dishy V2 to my existing setup. The installation was straightforward, and I loved that I didn’t have to modify or damage the original cable. The aluminum housing feels durable, and the included Ethernet cable was a nice bonus. Everything worked perfectly, and the connection has been stable. If you’re looking for a hassle-free way to integrate your Dishy V2 with a PoE injector or router, this is a great choice.

Doesn't work
I should have read the other reviews. This doesn't work for me. I noted that another reviewer mentioned the cable was hard to push in, but I'm confident I got it fully seated - there was no gap at all. Unfortunately, there are no indicator lights or other diagnostics to tell what might be wrong with it, so it's just an inert chunk of aluminum on my wall right now. I don't want to cut my Starlink cable to test individual conductors - the whole purpose of this device was to NOT have to do that. So I guess it's just one more piece of electronic waste for me in the pile now.

Works perfect
Love the ingenuity in the design of this. Allows one to convert the proprietary Starlink cable end (on the router side) to RJ-45 easily. No cutting required. It’s compact, made of metal, and feels like a quality component.

Great for 12V conversion without having to cut Starlink cable
Works great. Allows you to use standard patch cables (nothing customized) when you use the same company's PoE injector for a 12V conversion. If you use the cheaper Tyson injector that is used by a lot of YouTubers then you must make two custom patch cables that swap wire 3 and 4 and also swap wire 5 and 6.In either case you won't have to cut the Starlink cable. If after the conversion everything seems to work but your connection is slow or intermittent then the problem is probably the 12V to 48V boost converter that you are using. Starlink is sensitive to dirty power and the cheaper converters have that problem. You can google the issue.

Adapts a dishy cable fine
Nice aluminum housing. Adapts a dishy cable to ethernet as promised for those of us that don't want to cut up your dishy cable.

About as easy as it gets
I bought this along with the PoE injector. Once I was able to power the PoE injector I plugged my Starlink proprietary cable into this adapter, this adapter into the PoE injector, and then straight into my laptop via ethernet. The dish powers on and goes through the normal power up cycle pointing straight up for a minute then orienting itself north. The dish behaved completely normal. It even installed a normal update while it was running. The units are very compact and feel well made. Solid metal products. I let it run for a few hours and they never felt even remotely warm. I plan to use this in an RV set up. I made no modifications at all to my Starlink set up. I was able to swap out the factory modem to test going back and forth. This is the best way to power it via DC.
