Amazing! Could actually throw a hot potato around looking like a goalie!
Absolutely amazing. I have a lot of gadgets in the kitchen and like to cook. I'm not even clumsy but I liked the idea of having good gloved because the oven mitts are sometimes not really adequate when taking trays out the oven sideways and the other thing (which admittedly is quite good) which is the rubber sort of clip you can use to pick things up can mean your hands can get close to the sides when trying to slide trays around and out. What better than just to have relatively normal fitting gloves? So normal, in fact, that no one in the office thought they would work. We got a hair straightening iron out, fired it up and then proceeded to hold it for over thirty seconds without really even feeling it (it was clamped on both sides of the fingers) which is pretty astonishing. They could look a little cooler but I really can't fault them I quite love them! One thing to note - do not get them too wet before using because if something is hot and it evaporates the moisture it WILL be hot inside since it'll basically be steam which does permeate the material part!

Excellent product.
Excellent product. After burning my hands when removing Pyrex trays from a 200℃ oven through standard cotton oven mitts, and again after purchasing "Master Class" brand silicone oven gloves rated to "280℃", I bought these gloves. They do exactly what is claimed: instead of burning my hands this time, the tray just felt warm through these gloves. The gloves seem very well made. The material is slightly thicker than standard oven mitts, but it is very flexible (especially compared to silicone gloves) and the silicone strips provide a good grip. The long cuff is good to have, and it's elasticated which keeps the gloves securely on your hands. The gloves are a good fit for me, though the "one size" offered in black may be too large for smaller hands. It wasn't mentioned in the description, but these are machine washable too.Highly recommended. Wish I had known about these years ago.

Awesome product
These gloves are awesome when it comes to protecting your hands from scorching hot things. The only thing that really worried me was the sizing. I read the reviews and thought the best thing to do would be order one size fits all, since people complained the small ones were too small. So we ordered one size and they came... *BIG*... as big as Bigfoot's hands. Wow. But!!! The looks are deceiving - once your hands are inside, they are not nearly as big as they seem (they protect a more than a decent amount of your wrists and forearm as well). I mean, my hands don't really run on the small side as is, but these really fit me perfectly - my husband says they are a bit too small for his (larger than mine) hands. Can't recommend enough and would buy again if these ever disappear into thin air or get damaged somehow.

Good for most home applications
We have used these with the BBQ and now in colder months for the oven. You can feel through the gloves that you are holding something warm, but for most home uses the heat guard is absolutely adequate. I particulalry like them for oven use because of the separation of fingers that normal oven mitts don't allow. I feel that I have a better grasp on handles and pan edges. The one size does fit me but they are noticeably large on my stubby little hands. I think I am about a retail glove size 7 (in the US?), if that helps.

Great for all your burny hand stuff
I have stupid small hands (size 6 in gloves) so got the kids size, short on the fingers at first but you can wash them and stretch the fingers so now they fit perfect. Really confortable fit and great for holding pan handles, getting stuff out the oven etc.. I have a bakers mitt also and these are not as good as the mitt i.e, heat penetrates quicker, but only by a fraction and I would recommend them. Double sided too so you don’t have to worry about putting on the wrong glove on the wrong hand!Great to use by the BBQ too as you can turn and move bits with ease unlike a mitt. Worth the money, sent quick and safe and great follow up customer care/usage instructions from the seller

Wanted something like this for a while
Wanted something like this for a while, they can be a tight fit, thankfully I saw this mentioned in a review so I ordered the large. They cover the wrist and some of your forearm which is great. I have not tested them rigorously, there is a guideline as to how long you can hold items of a certain heat, which initially seemed not that long, then again there is rarely a reason to hold something of great heat for a significant period of time. They have loops so you can hang them on a hook, a criticism levelled at competitor, small bonus for me but may be important for other. An obvious point due to the material is not to use when wet, stay away from steam. If I had a criticism it would be the slightly tight fit, but this is not a big issue.

Great glove
Change of product review after a faulty pair were replaced. I do a lot of outdoor cooking over gas, charcoal and wood. Things get generally hot and it's not just pans. When used with my argentine grill which involves cooking over a hot wood embers these gloves do the job. Strangely enough I can still feel heat through them when I'm holding a steel rake and pushing embers across from the ember maker onto the grill but I don't it doesn't get uncomfortable. General cast iron pans etc are not a problem. I've yet to try holding steel shaft of a rotisserie which gets extremely hot in use. Previously I've used a lesser quality bbq glove but had to use a second mitt or thick material as well to hold the rotisserie as the heat transmitted straight through. Recomended.

Resist high temperature.
These are excellent in handling hot dishes straight out of the oven without much need to hurry to put them down, as happens with some other oven gloves. I don't have thick fingers (I would consider mine standard) so the only potential snag is they fit in a bit too tightly and require manipulating to get them on properly inserted. Perhaps they will expand a bit with use. I hope so. If your fingers are thicker than the norm you may have some difficulty fitting them on.
