I am not a rocket scientist and maybe that is the problem. I buy a lot of different types of torches but I can't figure this one out. It would have helped it there were instructions but there were none.

Not only did it arrive several days late, it also came wrapped up in a dirty plastic bag and missing one! I bought the two pack and from reading other reviews, this has happened more than once. I filled it with fluid but it wouldn't stay lit and when it did light, it gave off a terrible burning metal smell that I wouldn't want to inhale into my lungs!! You know what they say about when something seems surprisingly inexpensive compared to others of the same....it's because its cheaply made and not worth even a discounted rate! Well...something like that, anyway! Lol Don't buy this.

Sleek design and functionality seem good was unsure how the other half was intended to be used

Still working after months of use. I have bought 3, and the only reason I’ve bought new ones, is because the rubber mouthpiece tends to be loose, so goes missing from pocket or purse, etc. All 3 continue to operate perfectly, so even if not using to smoke, it still functions as a torch indefinitely.

Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't easy to turn down the flame. The flame adjustment is the refill area not even separated. You dont even have to touch the flame adjustment it moves all by its self.

This item has been out for 10 years and the lighters are still as terrible as they were on day 1. I love the idea so I take the top half and attach it to a better lighter. I was hoping after all this time and all the bad reviews they would have fixed the weak link, but alas.Can't give them as gifts because trying to tune these lighters is impossible and I don't want to put anyone I care about through that.Other than that, it's a good price. It is a little shorter than the previous ones so it's more pocket friendly. Probably still the best option for one handed devices.
