Lays flat and works for home office use
I have been using a different brand of cable cover for a while now as I had several things that I was not satisfied with it. It had a narrow cable channel, it used sticky double-sided tape that created a bit of a mess on the carpet and would never quite lay flat. So, I went in search of a cable cover that would do the job that I needed for my home office without the issues I described above. Although expensive individually, this 3-pack is reasonably priced at 30 bucks. One of these for my home office and the other two for other areas in the house, although these can be connected together if you need a longer piece. These come flat so they don’t curl up or cause issues with putting on the carpet. This has a nice wide channel that is deep enough for a heavy -duty APC surge protector power cable as well as other cables, in my case, I have a power cable from a surge protector, a cat 5 internet cable, a USB cable and another smaller telephone type cable with plenty of room inside with no bulky areas. The cover lays completely flat and is comfortable to work on, even my I-robot has no issues with it. Best of all, there is no sticky tape or anything like that to create mess. It is easy to lift and move and adjust cables as needed. These have no smell at all as far as I can tell. I am not worried about rolling over them as the heaviest thing that will be on them with either be me or a chair, but these can handle most things, except larger cars. I won’t not recommend for a garage though if you are rolling over with cars as there are heavier duty covers for that. These also will not fit larger than something that is more than a half inch in diameter, so a water hose or large gauge wire will not work for this cover. For home-office use and inside the house though, these do the job just fine and seem to be durable. I am happy with these covers.5 stars

just what I was looking for
I DJ at a lot of tailgate/outdoor events and needed something heavy duty to cover the power cables and speaker cable. These work great and are very EZ to use. Just lay the cables out and lay the cover over them. They are heavy rubber so they lay flat and stay in place. Not only are the cables protected , now there is no trip hazzard ' winner winner chicken diner

Sturdy and flat! Not rolled.
I love this cable cover! It's nice and solid, and shipped flat. I've tried so many otger solutions, and could never find an appropriate cover that didn't curl up or make a worse tripping hazard. Until now! It's so easy, just take it out of the box and put it on the floor. It holds a nice channel to fit several cables, especially household power, audio, video, etc. I needed to get power to a couch island in the middle of my theater room and this did the trick easily. Replaced a bulky mat I had previously which was unsightly and out of place. It only comes in black, so it stands out on my lighter colored carpet, but stays put and truly removes all trip hazard when going around the couch. The interlocking edges are a nice touch if you have a longer run. And the option to buy in multiples and get a little discount per piece when ordering more is cool. I got the 2 pack but will consider ordering another set soon for other areas.

These work great
Bought these for some live sound gigs I'm doing. Now instead of using half a roll of gaff tape every gig I can just put these down over the cables instead. Super convenient! They're pretty heavy duty and durable and I love that they're all black and not bright yellow like most of the ones you usually see. They clean easily too. I just ran them under the sink briefly to get all the dust off of them and they look as good as new again.

Good cord protector
I always have stray extention cords laying around the work areas. I don't like to step on them but sometimes they are hard to avoid.A cord protector looks like the Ticket. The thickest extention cord currently in use is this red 12 guage. It works, just enough to be acceptable. Height wise there is no extra room, the rubber protector is sitting right on the cord. 14 guage cords and smaller are just fine. They have a nice, heavy rubber feel and lay flat. These come in a long box, not coiled up. There is no odor. They will be used indoors so see no problems from an abrasive surface. If you plan to use them outside I would look at another style.

Prone to move....
Their lighter weight than others makes them prone to move more than expected unless you screw or glue them down.

Just what I was looking for
We needed a cover for the cables of the portable solar panels we take camping. This is over gravel typically, and we'll be moving the setup around regularly. So the rolled up PVC ones that need to be taped down weren't an option, and the modular system with three pieces gives us more flexibility in case we don't always need the full length. It has enough weight to it to stay put, and arrives in a full-length box so there's no curl to work out.
