Flutter Mucus Clearance Device by Clement Clarke

I am rated 100% disabled by the Veterans Administration and have empsyema and chronic bronchitis. The VA obtained one of these Flutter devices and I have found it to be very effective in loosening mucus and bringing it up so that it can be discretely transferred to a paper tissue and sanitarally disposed of. I originally relyed on Guaifeneson and a number of prescription inhalants and doubted such a simple device would contribute to my ability to breathe, so I didn't use it. I now know it can produce results after all of the meds have failed to complete the mucus elimination, it just takes some time, but usually within 30 minutes to produce results. It is easy to carry in purse or pocket and should be used several times during the day by gently blowing into the stem for 5-10 minutes. Unscrew the bowl to separate the parts for cleaning with warm soapy water every day or two, secretions can build up to interfere with operation and are unsanitary in any case, but this is quick and easy to do.I give it four stars because it is too expensive compared to other devices on the market that do the same thing, but it is superior to them in all other ways. One of these should last forever, and disinfected (boiling water for 20 minutes) can be shared. No spin here, this thing works!
